The pictures of the place look dark and moody- not typically the types of places we’ve stayed at, but the reviews looked OK. When we arrived, my son immediately started having allergic type reactions. He is allergic to dogs. I messaged the host and asked if there were/had been pets in the townhome. The written materials around the place clearly said no animals allowed but as you can see there appears to be a dog space and a large rug with a paw print. He insisted there have not been animals inside the unit. That is when we noticed the abundance of hairs on the steps. Initially, I was certain they were dog hairs, but after finding so many of them in so many different lengths and colors, I believe there are human hairs mixed in there as well. The unit is very dark. The stairs are painted black and it made it more challenging to see the hairs and dirt initially, but it was clearly there. The bathroom was less than spotless as well as you can see on the photo of the commode. The host offered us a free night as compensation, but said that we would have to pay for the cleaning fee. I’m not sure what they do with the cleaning fee, but I would think they may need to reconsider. We also noticed that there are videos online that appear to show very sexualized films being shot with multiple women in lingerie on the bedspread. Seeing these clips, coupled with the clearly overlooked dirty stairs, made me cringe at what was likely invisible, but lurking on the dark colored bedspreads.

Graduation celebration

The decor in the home is amazing & very creative. However, it is a small townhouse that can only sleep 4 adults comfortably (couples) and maybe 2 small children in these little closet spaces that have been made into sleep spaces. I booked thinking my entire family of 10 would be able to stay in one place. However, we ended up having to book 2 hotel rooms because it was not enough space. The washer and dryer are stackable so the dryer is up too high if you are short. Seeing that over half of my party moved to a hotel, I had difficulty reaching the dryer cycles to run the dryer. I got in very late but the neighbor was outside letting us know that we would not all fit in the place and there was only parking for two cars and that we would have to park around the corner. There was also a notice about the trash container being out before we even got to the place. There was only 1/4 of paper towel and not enough tissue in the bathrooms for even a small group. The host was responsive during booking and indicated space was sufficient for my large group which was not the case. Needless to say my sons graduation dinner did not happen as we did not have the space.

Perfect for our Bachelorette Group!

Location and place were perfect!! The inside was beautiful and perfect for our bachelorette group. Two assigned parking spots were also available. Very clean and host was very responsive. Highly recommend!

Halloween Gathering

We had an amazing time at Jay’s Place for our Halloween party! The atmosphere was perfect and really set the mood. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the space, saying it fit for Halloween. The layout was ideal for mingling, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Jay was also incredibly accommodating and responsive. We couldn’t have chosen a better venue to celebrate. Highly recommend!

Birthday sleepover

The stay was great just got a little confused on which townhouse it was because there were several TH that had the electronic lock on it. You can tell that the previous person/family that stayed had a dog because mine and my daughters allergies were on 100. Other than that everything was just as advertised

Don’t let the exterior fool you this townhouse is completely stunning on the interior with new finishes and updated features the overall vibe was amazing for my boyfriends birthday. Jay was an amazing host we will definitely be booking again !
