Le Petit Retreat: A BSL dog friendly home close to beach, dining and shopping

Make yourself at home at this welcoming dog friendly rental just outside the hustle and bustle of downtown Bay St. Louis. "Le Petit Retreat" is the ideal location- it is nestled on a one-way street in a "sweet spot" in Old Town- close enough to walk, bike or golf cart to the beach, dining and shopping yet far enough away in a tranquil residential setting where you can relax and recharge. Simplicity and comfort are key characteristics of this rental. As intended with mid-century modern homes, this house puts an emphasis on lifestyle, family time and spending time exploring the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

When you stay here, you choose your own adventures! You could partake in the downtown Bay St. Louis life (It is located three blocks from the main strip on the beach .4 miles/800 steps) and two blocks from Main St. shopping! (.3 miles/600 steps). You could take a stroll around the neighborhood- where you may find a local or two willing to give you the inside scoop on their favorite places. You could take your fur baby to Bay St. Louis's dog friendly beach and watch them enjoy the surf and sand. (All dogs must remain on a leash). You could charter a fishing expedition or book a ride around the Bay of St. Louis (if weather permits). You could participate in one of the many activities that the MS Gulf Coast has to offer- like Mardi Gras parades, Pirate Day in the Bay, the Witches Walk/Boo in the Bay and Cruising the Coast. If you are willing to travel a bit, you could visit New Orleans- only a 45 minute drive from the house or one Amtrak stop away from the Bay St. Louis Depot to New Orleans (coming in 2024).

After your adventures, you could choose to stay home and sip coffee on the comfy couch, while reading a book and looking through the window at the old oak trees. Our simple and functional kitchen features plenty of counter space, as well as a counter height custom made dining room table. A convenient upgraded sink and countertop design and a complete offering of dishes, plates, pots, pans and utensils makes it easy to order in or whip up a dinner at home.

Both bedrooms have a queen size Beautyrest mattress with tufted headboards. One bedroom has a remote workstation with wi-fi and a flat screen TV. The living room has a 65" flatscreen TV with all streaming services where guests can use their own accounts. The living room has two upholstered swivel chairs and an oversized couch. All electrical outlets have been upgraded with integral USB outlets in strategic locations. You have access to a washer and dryer and extra "junk towels" to wipe off sand and water. There are also a few beach towels, chairs and kid's fishing nets for a last-minute trip to the beach.
