The host met us to walk us through the property and even gave us a choice of adjoining properties. Our place was absolutely beautiful and spotless.

Property is very nice and very clean. Views from balcony are stunning. We were fortunate to have a couple of beautiful sunsets. Even though the location is in midst of a very active construction area the noise really wasn’t a factor

Our stay at the Porto Ocean Flat was incredible! The sunset views from the balcony were amazing. The flat was beautifully decorated with a well equipped kitchen. It was very easy to communicate with our host. She took us to the grocery store when we checked in on Sunday. We will stay again when we return to Porto.

The property was amazing! Great location on the beach with spectacular views and easy walking distance to many great restaurants.The condo is only a few years old and is immaculately maintained.Our host was easy to communicate with and attentive to any requests. Four spacious bedrooms with individual bathrooms. Large living and dining area. The kitchen contains everything required to prepare meals and has a washing machine and dryer.I would highly recommend this accommodation and would definitely stay here again.

The apartment is wonderful, well equipped, great views of the seafront, perfect for our group of four couples. Host was prompt in responses and helpful and courteous. I was alarmed on arrival at the number of cranes and the amount of building in the area but in a way glad I hadn’t known and been put off by that. In all other ways the apt was perfect and the location lovely for beach walks and restaurants.

Stunning apartment with amazing view. Clean, bright, modern, well stocked apartment - so inviting and comfortable. Steps to the beach. We loved exploring Porto and retreating to this lovely apartment on the ocean. Hosts were delightful and responsive. Ideal stay!

Relaxing oceanfront stay

This rental lived up to all of our expectations. The sunsets were amazing and the beach area and restaurants were perfect. The flat was well appointed, very clean and very comfortable. The host was very communicative and helpful during our 2 night stay. I wish we had more time there.

Beautiful apartment, stunning views

What a fantastic place to stay for a few days. The apartment is really well equipped and the huge balcony offers fantastic views, especially at sunset. The only slight annoyance with our stay was the constant construction noise during the work week. There are more buildings going up (hardly surprising given the location) and the noise was hard to put up with. This will obviously not be a problem once the new buildings are finished.

But for the rain

This is a really classy apartment. Four comfortable en-suite bedrooms. A large main room with dinning table for eight. Small but functional kitchen with remarkably high-end appliances. Perhaps the best feature is the large patio/balcony overlooking the Atlantic, the beach, and the mouth of the Douro river. Unfortunately we had rain all four nights so could not utilize the space. Location? Two Uber drivers commented that this was the primo location in Gaia. Several great restaurants walkable from the unit, including Armazém do Peixe, a half hour walk along the river. Weary from travel on the first night we really enjoyed the sushi restaurant only a ten minute walk from the apartment.

Beautifully appointed and maintained penthouse suite, with awe inspiring beach and sunset views. It's warm four bedroom/ four bathroom exceeded expectations - muito'brigado. Carlos & Tatiana were warm, welcoming and we appreciated their engagement and humour !! You won't want to leave the balcony - but we recommend "Bolting" to Armazem de Peixe, Serrao in Mastosinhos and Quinta do Crasto (Ferrao) when you do. Mary, Pat, Jenn & Jacques (Canada - 09.2024)

Awesome View - Beautiful Unit - Great Location - Extra "Tax" Requested

This is a top floor unit with large windows, the largest and most beautiful patio in the complex, and a gorgeous view of the ocean and city. The sunsets were wonderful to watch. Carlos was very helpful and professional when he checked us in and when he communicated with us during our stay. The unit appears new and is in excellent condition. Our only disappointment and frustration is that various people from the host company asked us to pay a seemingly unsubstantiated (we can't find it on the web) "City Tax" of an extra 75 Euros (cash) which they sent us various WhatsApp messages requesting. Carlos also politely requested the extra cash. The extra cash payments was not mentioned in the House Rules and VRBO Support staff told us not to pay them (we didn't pay this unsubstantiated request). Otherwise, it was an excellent experience and we would stay there again if in the area.
