C'est l'appartement parfait pour ceux qui aiment se détendre à la fin de la journée, après avoir exploré la ville, en savourant un vin du Porto dans cette ambiance raffinée et chaleureus, ponctuée de pièces vintage des premières décennies du XXe siècle!
Le grand confort de l'appartement est garanti par la climatisation et l'excellente isolation et insonorisation, et aussi pour les tissus velours et soie, et délicats draps sur les lits.

L'appartement, dans un immeuble traditionnel des années 40, vient d'être entièrement restauré. Son emplacement est parfait pour explorer la ville de Porto à pied!

La cuisine est équipée y compris plaque vitrocéramique, réfrigérateur, lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, grille-pain, four, grill, machine à café expresso, bouilloire, etc., et machine à laver et aspirateur. Disponible aussi deux télévisions LCD et connexion Wi-Fi.

Il a deux salles de bain complètes, et les détails des chambres à coucher sont:

1 - la chambre violet, très confortable, et dont la seule ouverture est une grande porte coulissante en verre sur le lumineux hall d'entrée du petit balcon, et avec des rideaux épais pour couper la lumière.
Le imposant lit en bois de rose de la première décennie du XIXe siècle est dans le style traditionnel portugais Dona Maria et a un confortable matelas de 1,40 x 2,00

2 - la chambre verte a un lit king-size (1,80 x 2,00) et matelas de la plus haute qualité qui peut être séparé en deux lits simples. Il y a des stores et des rideaux pour l'obscurité totale.

3 - la chambre rouge, chaleureuse et accueillante, a un canapé-lit qui s'ouvre et se transforme dans un confortable lit double de 1,40 x 2,00 et aussi des stores et des rideaux épais pour l'obscurité totale.
Pour entrer dans la chambre verte vous passez par la chambre rouge, donc, pour une occupation jusqu'à 4 personnes, la chambre verte fonctionne comme une grande suite avec antichambre et salle de bain privée.

L'appartement a deux entrées. Par l'entrée principale, l'appartement est au deuxième étage, sans ascenseur, mais avec des escaliers très confortables.
Par l'autre entrée, l'accès est fait à travers la porte en bas sur la rue, et confortables escaliers extérieurs vers le balcon.

L'appartement comprend un parking gratuit dans un garage à 50 mètres du bâtiment

On offre des fruits frais et du vin du Porto pour consommation à l'arrivée sur place gratuitement.

The apartment and hosts are amazing! The pictures do not do it justice. It is recently renovated and has all the amenities one could need. The check-in process was smooth and our host was very helpful with guidance on what to do and see as well as good restaurants and shopping. We felt quite at home in this comfortable space. Hosts were amazing and she met us at the property. She had a beautiful fruit basket and treats. She sat with us and showed us great places to go and things to do and was very responsive when we emailed with questions. This was one of the best host experiences we’ve ever had. The property was 2nd floor but it was 3 flights of stairs and no elevator. It was very clean and the host had laundry and cleaning service mid week. The building was in a perfect location and easy to get around town, metro close, grocery and pharmacy 5 min away and the main shopping walking street 10 minutes. The only negative for 2 couples was the large difference between the two bedrooms and how small the 2nd bathroom was, it was great having a full kitchen and a washer unit. Thankfully it had AC in every room since we were there during a heat wave. I would definitely recommend this place to stay while in Porto.

Exactly as explained in the listing, the apartment is on the second floor without an elevator. Second floor because we are in Europe and not in the USA... It is important for tourists from the United States to realize that there is a whole different world outside the USA, with the old continent of Europe having its own conventions, systems and norms, which are worth knowing when visiting.

The luxury of well maintained space was the best feature of this apartment. The host was very responsive to our needs and provided an excellent introduction to Porto and suggestions for activities. We were welcomed with fresh fruit and beverages in the fridge. The few minor issues that can inevitably crop up were addressed promptly and conscientiously. Although a washer/dryer unite was provided, the host arranged for our laundry to be done elsewhere, a real treat! There were a couple of well stocked grocery stores nearby and the apartment was well located for restaurants and the attractions of historic Porto. We were happy and well satisfied with this unit.

Once there, he spent an hour talking to us about Porto and gave dozens of recommendations on what to see, where to eat and how to get there. Could not have been happier with this apartment. It is very big, and well decorated to the smallest of details. The location is great and very central. The host, Jorge, was extremely gracious and communicative. They left us wine, liquor, beer, fruit and spent a solid 10-15 minutes with us at arrival to mark up a map of “must see” and “must dine” places. All great recommendations. By far, the best experience I have had on VRBO.

This is a great apartment, with a terrific layout for families and perfectly located for touring the city. The check-in process was friendly and easy - including a helpful overview of Porto and recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. Highly recommend!

This was the very best home we've ever stayed in. There were more welcome amenities than usual (plenty of paper towels, even Kleenex, cotton swabs, snacks and drinks - wow!), making the entire stay feel luxurious, and almost like family. Manuela welcomed us personally with a detailed tour (very helpful), including a map and suggestions for local stops. She went above and beyond in every way. We highly recommend, and would stay at any of the properties of these owners. Thank you for your extra efforts, they were noticed and appreciated.

Porto Beauty

We loved our stay here. We were met by our host who explained the whole area in detail and answered any questions we had. A lovely basket of fresh fruit and a bottle of Port was a thoughtful touch We would definitely book it again.

Situé dans l'intéressant quartier de São Lázaro, Bonfim, Porto, excellent pour explorer à pied le centre historique, et qui offre le commerce traditionnelle et alternative, et de la cuisine traditionnelle portugaise.

Plusieurs bons restaurants de cuisine portugaise se trouvent à deux minutes à pied. Et vous êtes à cinq minutes à pied de la rue Santa Catarina, où vous trouverez l'emblématique Cafe Majestic et nombreuses boutiques intéressantes, et à cinq minutes à pied de l'étonnant marché Bolhão, et de la salle de concert Coliseu et du Théâtre national S. João.

Selon un article publié dans The Guardian (8 février 2020), intitulé "10 des quartiers les plus cool d'Europe", le quartier de Bonfim, Porto, est le quatrième quartier le plus cool d'Europe,

Si vous venez en voiture, l'appartement comprend parking gratuit dans le garage à 50 mètres de l'immeuble

Excellentes liaisons de transports publics, station de métro à 200 mètres avec ligne directe vers l'aéroport.
À l'aéroport prennez le métro pour le centre de Porto et quittez à la station "Campo 24 de Agosto". Une fois dans la Place "Campo 24 de Agosto" prennez la Fernandes Tomás, marchez 100 mètres, prenez la première à gauche et vous arrivez à l'appartement 100 mètres en avant!

La configuration de l'appartement avec accès direct à la rue est un grand avantage, et évite tout contact dans les parties communes, comme ça arrive dans les autres hébergements (hôtels et appartements).

L'appartement est très confortable avec climatisation, cuisine entièrement équipée et salles de bains avec gel, shampooing, lotion pour le corps, serviettes de bain de haute qualité, sèche-cheveux, etc.
La décoration est faite avec des meubles de haute qualité et des antiquités portugaises.

Bien que très central et dans une rue animée, l` excellente insonorisation, les fenêtres avec coupe thermique et acoustique et la climatisation offrent une atmosphère calme et silencieuse et un grand confort!
