This small budget friendly room is ideal to lay your head after exploring the iconic Maine coast. The room is recommended for 1 guest, but we do allow up to 2 people. Located on 2nd floor above property lobby with access via exterior staircase.
We have the luxury of being just feet from the bridge that leads to MDI and Acadia National Park but that also means that we are on the main artery that leads to the park. It gets busy with road traffic from Route 3 and air traffic from the small BHB airport. If you are a light sleeper and want to be deep in nature, this may not be the best spot for you. If you are looking for a relaxed, rustic vibe with what we consider to be the very best location to get to all things Acadia?! This IS your spot. Ask about earplugs or a white noise machine if you’re concerned about traffic noise.
Outdoor Amenities:
During warmer months the scenic grounds are vibrant with flower boxes, gardens, lush lawns, Adirondack chairs, and picnic tables shaded by umbrellas and mature trees. Play a game of cornhole, or gather with your group to roast marshmallows around the fire pit; the stars here are so bright at night!

This property is close to Acadia it was a very easy drive. The hosts were very helpful and kept a free stocked kitchen in the office area, this touch made it feel like you were staying with family or friends. I stayed in room 12 it is very small. Perfect for solo travelers.

We enjoyed our stay. We were especially touched by the little ways we were welcomed to the property. What a nice surprise to see easy access to snacks, drinks, and games. I also appreciated the fact the room was clean and had a pleasant smell upon arrival.

Technically the drive time to hikes in Acadia National park are really 25 minutes away from the property. It didn’t bother me too much because driving and seeing the views of Maine is beautiful.
My room met my needs especially for the price. However there were lots of lady bugs alive and dead that I was sharing the space with lol.
I was waking up at 6:30-7:00am due to the traffic of people driving along the road but I was starting my morning early anyways but just wanted to note for others. I tried using the noise ear plugs they provided but doesn’t help.
The common living room area is truly amazing I loved using the space to get snacks, ice, microwave, and sit at a table.
Overall I’m very happy with my stay and wanted to share my honest experience!

Great trip to Bar Harbor…accommodations were good, room was a little small but made it work for 1 person…would be even tighter for 2. Communications with owners was good for my minor requests. Location was good.

One Night Stay
As per the listing, the room is small and you can hear road noise. However, neither made the stay unacceptable. The room was clean and the bed/pillows were comfortable.
