Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. We are located 10 miles from Downtown Chicago. Plenty of sightseeing and activities. We are less than a 5-minute walking distance from one of the well-known old-school arcades in the Chicagoland area and the largest in America. Downtown La grange is within walking distance with plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. The historical Brookfield Zoo is a 10-minute drive.

A nice house that easily slept 4 kids and 4 adults. There were ants in the house, then than that it was very nice, it was easy to get to the train into Chicago from here.

Great Experience

Group of us stayed here for a long weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed the property. It’s well kept and is very convenient being close to multiple Metra stations. Would recommend this to others!

Beware that this owner will try to charge you extra money after you check out. Make sure you take pictures and videos as you are leaving this property. Very unprofessional 🚨🚨🚨

Hello, we have had numerous guests stay at the property with no issues. Guests are expected to follow VRBO policy and guidelines before and after booking. Smoking is never allowed in our home and is listed in our policy when you book. Since marijuana was smoked in the home by a guest who booked, there would be a fee that applied. This is never acceptable - not only did you interfere with other guests checking in but you disrespected our home. I wish you well.

Very clean and comfortable for small or large groups

We were very pleased with how clean and modern the home was. Even had a Christmas tree and a few other small touches that made the house homey for the holidays. A lot of little details really made our stay pleasant. The towels were fresh and new, board games were available and the kitchen was in wonderful shape which made us very confident to cook. The space was perfect to gather many ppl, as well as a separate living room for when we wanted some space. There was a separate little kitchen bar downstairs. And wine glasses hung under the dinning table. We didn’t use either but was a nice offer. They kept us stocked in the showers and kitchen including ice. The listing mentioned a hot tub and play land, we didn’t find either. Parking was very easy and the neighborhood felt safe. Thanks for a great stay, we’d definitely come back!

Great Location, Misleading Listing

We stayed at this property for a week while visiting family and attending a funeral. Overall, the home was in a great location—close to Galloping Ghost Arcade, downtown LaGrange, downtown Brookfield, and the Brookfield Zoo. The house was clean, well-constructed, and equipped with nice appliances. However, our experience didn’t fully align with the VRBO listing due to some inaccuracies. The property was listed as having three bedrooms and two baths, but it turned out that the main level only had two bedrooms and one bathroom. The third “primary” bedroom, as listed, was actually in the basement, which was less than ideal. The basement ceiling height was very low—less than 6.5 feet throughout—and the bathroom sink area was only 6 feet high. My husband, who is 6’1”, had to duck while going down the stairs and navigate the basement carefully to avoid hitting his head on the ceiling soffits and doorways. The king bed in the basement was extremely firm and uncomfortable, and there were no nightstands, which made it inconvenient. Additionally, the basement living area was not very usable. The couch was uncomfortable and separated into two pieces, making it difficult to relax. While the kitchen was well-stocked with basic supplies, we found that most items, like knives and cooking utensils, were of low quality. We even ended up buying better toilet paper for our stay. We had a wonderful stay! This place was incredibly family-friendly and perfect for traveling with little ones. They provided a baby gate, travel crib, and high chair, which made our stay so much easier.One thing that really surprised us was how much bigger the house felt in person. The bedrooms and kitchen are much more spacious than the photos suggest, with plenty of room for our family.The host was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and quick to answer any questions we had. The neighborhood felt very safe, and there was always plenty of street parking. We never had any trouble finding a spot right in front of the house.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone, especially families traveling with young children.

My second stay at this house. Great place, we stay specifically because it’s so close to the Galloping Ghost Arcade. So great to be able to walk to the arcade, walk back to house to take a break then back at it 30 minutes later. The house is super clean, kept up, and a true hidden gem. If we do our arcade trip again next year, this will be the only place we will want to stay.
