My husband and I were traveling with our lab, and this house was perfect for our time away. The location made it easy to visit the beach, the Hermitage Museum & Gardens, and the waterfront in Norfolk. The owner was a pleasure to work with and provided quick responses and excellent restaurant recommendations.

We had an awesome time in that house. It had enough space for all of us and was in a really good location. 10 min to the airport, 20 min to downtown and fort Monroe. And the outdoor patio was awesome. We will keep this in mind when we return.

Had a wonderful stay very short walk to beach close to all stores if you need anything great great time and our fur babies loved the fenced in yard will be back recommend highly Cosby Family

Great home away from home

This was a great home base for our trip to Virginia. It was easy to access the local beach, museums, and the Virginia Beach area without being in the middle of the more touristy areas. Loved the back porch and having the garage to park in.

This house was very comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed. The screened in back porch was great for morning cofee and evening relaxing. The location was just a short walk to a beach which was great for early morning sunrise walks with the dog. The fenced in back yard made the stay with a dog even more convenient. Check in/out was smooth. Communication was quick. Overall great house. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Graduation get-together

The house was sweet, and worked well for the five of us. Mom, Dad and son stayed upstairs in their own space, and two other adults each had a room and bathroom downstairs. We were supplied with everything we needed. There was a nice back porch with lights, backyard and garage, and both the front and back door had pad-accessible entry, great for not having to deal with keys. The neighborhood was quiet, with sidewalks and trees for easy walking. The beach was a less than 10 minute walk away, with calm and shallow waters for swimming. We could have driven to Virginia Beach, about 30 minutes away, but chose to not bother. We came to see a graduation, and Old Dominion University was about 25 minutes away. Also close by was Harris Teeter's, a great coffee shop (Mudity's), and a fun restaurant on the pier.
