Our lovely vacation home is located in Downtown in the best neighborhood. It's a very clean, safe and quiet neighborhood walking distance from the boardwalk with the view of the ocean and Norfolk Skyline with ferry access to Norfolk Downtown and Water District. Also walking distance from Virginia's first casino, The Rivers Casino. The house is recently renovated and furnished with brand new furniture with a cozy homey design and is equipped with a full kitchen with all the appliances you'd need and kitchenware. It has a spacious laundry room with brand new washer and dryer in addition to iron and board in walk in closets for all wardrobe needs. There are 3 large smart TVs at the house in the living room and bedrooms. We also have games at the house for entertainment and fun.

Wonderful Location

Stayed here with friends for a convention. Wonderful accommodations and a great place for us to all stay! We were close to downtown which was perfect for us. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing stay for a group of friends

I was pleasantly surprised with this house! It was very clean and my friends & I had an amazing time! The location made me feel very safe we even walked to and from the house for food since the weather was nice. Overall great stay and great host! I definitely recommend booking this home.

Perfectly situated for our needs, lovely house for our family. House has a few minor maintenance updates needed, but nothing major and the host was very quick to respond to questions. Great fit for our group of 3 couples

Very quaint neighborhood. Loved being able to walk to so many attractions. Took the ferry to Norfolk twice and drive to Virginia Beach one day. There really isn’t an outdoor space to gather but we bought a couple folding chairs and hung out on the front step area quite a bit. Left chairs for future guests to enjoy. Enjoyed the Portsmouth speakeasy style tapas restaurant and the Bier Garden on High St. First time visit to the area and really enjoyed it. Quiet cities but nice and relaxing.

Great town, great show, great place to stay!

A group of us traveled in from Pittsburgh to catch a show at the pavilion. The town is quaint and quiet but has a lot of food/drink options and is very walkable. The pavilion was very nice as well. The home was clean and had plenty of space for us to be there for the short times that we were not out enjoying the town. The hosts were easy to communicate with and were proactive in making our experience a good one. Thank you!

House was lovely! It’s just needs a few updates. Needs new pots & pans. Maybe some new mattresses. But other than that it was great. Nice neighborhood, friendly neighbors. Would stay again.

Would not rent here again. Hosts: The hosts were very poor at communicating and replying to messages. I had to reach out to VRBO multiple times to help me with communication with them. Main house: The property was not as expected. Three floors, no bedrooms on main floor. AC only worked on first floor, so the third floor became unbearable by the end of the day… couldn’t sleep up there (had to sleep on couch). Front door jam is loose and probably insecure. Living room TV had no clicker for volume and so buttons on tv to manually control, so was stuck at one volume. Kitchen: Only 1 trash bag in trash cans, no spares. 1 roll of paper towels, very few kitchen utensils/plates, etc. Kitchen cabinets were very loose. Kitchen chair legs very loose and unsafe. Kitchen trashcan has missing foot pedal to open trash can. Bathrooms: Too few bath towels. Only 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, no spares. Second floor tub floor was SO slippery… had to lay down a towel for some sort of grip. Both bathroom floors had very slick tile that got slippery from humidity of taking a hot shower.Bedrooms: Beds are very low to the ground (difficult for older renters a to get in or out of bed). Blue bedroom on second floor sounds like the ceiling fan was so loose it would come off the ceiling, stand up fan didn’t work, and didn’t have a tv in it.Positives: they allowed a complimentary early check in. They had streaming services access tvs in house.

Full length mirrors in each room.

Loved the place! I will book again. Just a couple of tweaks. The walk-in closets need full-length mirrors. We found extra pillows but they had no pillow cases.

Spacious, lovely, great value

The property was modern, clean, and lovely. Very comfortable. Quaint historic neighborhood has a lot of charm. 2 bedrooms are on the second floor with the master on the 3rd. Great value for visiting nearby Norfolk. Parking was always available in the lot across the street, never full even when getting back to the house late at night. I would stay there again.
