Less than a mile walk until your feet are in the sand! Relax after a day at the beach in this spacious and open home just minutes from the beach. After walking or biking back from the beach, relax in one of 2 living rooms - the second living space features a gas log fireplace with cute built-in window seating, another dining table, two futons for extra guests sleeping over, or simply for an awesome game and playroom. Or gather around the kitchen - between the dining table and island bar, you can comfortably seat 10-12 people.

The large master suite is a place for rest and replenishment - enjoy the walk-in tile shower! The second and third bedrooms are fabulous too and share the other beautiful bathroom in the home.

Outdoor living continues into the fenced-in backyard with a huge ground level deck perfect for relaxing in the hammock listening to waves crash, entertaining, sunbathing, or just letting the kids run around.

We are pet friendly and allow up to 2 pets of any size. Dogs must be crated when left alone and are not allowed on the furniture. A large crate is provided in the master bedroom.

Located on SE 29th St, the house is 2 blocks to the scenic walkway that leads to the beach or kayak launch. It's recently renovated, incredibly spacious, tons of outdoor living space, fully furnished, linens and towels provided, fenced in back yard, screened in front porch, lots of parking, plus no climbing tons of stairs!

Accommodations were super clean,easy to get to,quiet. We had plenty of towels and dishes. The beds were comfy. Definitely felt like a home away from home. Would choose this rental again.

Host was communicative to any questions I had. House was located close to the beach which was important to us. Property was also dog friendly and the large crate in the Master bedroom was great for us, we brought our 30lb dog with us. Plenty of room for a total trip size of 6 for a long weekend. We were also able to check in a little earlier than expected, which was a plus after a 6 hour drive. Overall, I would recommend this property and would stay here again.

Everything is as advertised. The house is spacious and had everything we needed. There were ample towels and we loved that everything was labeled. The host was great to communicate with us prior to check in. Would definitely recommend this house for a stay at OKI.

The location was great. Super close to anything you might need or want. Felt very safe in the neighborhood. Also, the beds were very comfy & the extra living room was nice for an additional large, open space. We absolutely loved being able to spend so much time with the dogs in the back yard!

We had a wonderful and relaxing time here. The house was clean, spacious, and accommodating (especially for our party of 10) and it's in such a peaceful neighborhood. We especially loved sitting on the back patio, drinking our morning coffee and watching all different kinds of birds in the trees. The host is awesome! She was very helpful with our questions and responded quickly when we reached out. We appreciated the labels over the cabinet doors in the kitchen and that is was well stocked! The neighbors and the local people were very nice as well. The walk to the beach was easy and picturesque. If our travel plan brings us back to Oak Island, we will definitely stay here again!

Megan, FYI some of the pillows in smaller bedrooms had musty smell as did the comforter/bedspread. Having lived in Atlanta we are familiar with humidity issues but thought we should let you know.

This house was a great set up for our family! We had young adults to grandparents from out of state and were able to stay under one roof! The owners were fantastic and answered any questions we had. Definitely recommend!

The property is amazing! I stayed with 10 people and we never once felt crowded! Host is absolutely amazing and had to save day on our trip when there was no fire pit! He replaced it in no time and your lucky if you get use it! Such great memories and can't wait to go back! Thank you!

Our home away from home!

This was our second summer staying here, and we are hoping next year will make 3 in a row. The house was clean, well stocked and just as described. The owners are fantastic human beings who genuinely want to make sure you enjoy your stay. I can’t say enough good things about them and this home. Thank you.
