đŸ”ïž Alma, known for being "North America's highest incorporated town", is the perfect location, nestled between Breckenridge and Fairplay, and also just under an hour from many other resorts including Keystone, Copper, and A-Basin. Enjoy this quaint mountain town all year round as the Rocky Mountains have something to offer during all four seasons! Endless trails for biking and hiking during the spring & summer months, Hoosier Pass from Breckenridge to Fairplay is a great opportunity to experience the leaves changing during the fall months, and of course, multiple ski resorts for all of your winter needs.

Guest access:
- Guests will have access to the entire home & property.
- Guests will access the property with an electronic keypad on the front door. The door code will be specific to each individual stay.

Other things to note:
🚙 A 4X4 vehicle is required from October through May in order to safely access the property. The driveway and roads are plowed but you will need 4-wheel drive for deeper snow after a storm. It can also become slick if the snow melts and refreezes. We are not responsible if you choose to come to the home without the proper equipment during the winter months. The driveway is steep and we suggest reversing down the driveway in order to ensure a smooth exit. 4 cars maximum on the driveway and absolutely no street parking allowed.

Please remember to lock all of your car doors and do not leave any food or trash outdoors. The bears are mischievous and are always looking for snacks. 😜

Excellent stay! The cabin is clean, comfortable and well stocked. Very quiet area. The hot tub was a nice perk to be able to relax. The host is very responsive to messages. Would recommend staying here.

Absolutely gorgeous cabin! We loved it and wish we could have stayed longer as the cabin had so much to offer. We really enjoyed viewing - and listening - to the creek with small waterfalls on property. The cabin had everything we could have needed and more. We hope we can visit again one day.

Perfect base for hiking adventures! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. Beds were very comfortable. Hot tub and stream were so relaxing. Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay at this beautiful cabin. The stream that was on the property was so beautiful. The cabin was very clean, comfortable and had beautiful log beams inside and out. We loved relaxing on the porch while looking for wildlife and listening to the stream. The hot tub was amazing. You can see a million stars from this property at night. We left refreshed and so thankful for our time there.

Great place to stay

Cabin was beautiful and clean. It had everything we needed and had things labeled. Check in and check out process was very easy. It does not have an air conditioner. We were fine without it and it was warmer than normal while we were there. Basement stayed really cool. Has good WiFi, movies, hot tub, and games. It has well water that tasted really good.

Like other guests, we loved the seclusion, cozy feel, and decent views at Moose Creek Cabin—ideal for a peaceful mountain escape, just 30 minutes from Breckenridge. The well-equipped setup (including heaters, supplies, and more) made our stay comfortable, and the hot tub was a true highlight.Some additional comments: Check-in timing: Check-in is 4 PM, but cleaners were still there until 4:35 PM. A heads-up or slight time adjustment would help arrivals flow smoothly.Cleanliness detail: The cabin felt generally spotless and organized (matching the praise for being one of the cleanest rentals), but we found considerable human hair in the main bedroom sheets. The host quickly offered to change the bedding—great response—but a final double-check would ensure that perfect first impression.Dry air comfort: The high-altitude dryness was noticeable. Adding a humidifier (or noting the need in the guest book) would be a simple, appreciated upgrade.Welcome basket: Nice gesture, but it was basic (just a few energy bars) and a bit messy—could make it warmer.We had a relaxing stay and would recommend this charming, secluded spot. With these minor tweaks, it could easily match the outstanding reviews others have shared.

This piece of heaven on earth exceeded our expectations!! It was magical..the home..the waterfall..the wildlife and the view! If you want to disconnect and reconnect with your complete inner peace this is the place!!

Very Secluded and a cozy place

Decent views around the cabin. Very secluded. Well Equipped with additional heaters, a bluetooth speaker, full-size poker table, supplies etc. Host was very communicative and ensured we had a great stay. 25-30 minutes from Breckenridge.

22nd Bday Weekend

We had so much fun at the Moose Creek Cabin! This was one of the most organized and clean rentals I have ever booked. The book that was provided had all of the information that we needed, as well as some great recommendations nearby. The only problem we encountered was the driveway. Even with an AWD car, I was unable to exit the driveway and had to buy chains.

Lovely Mountain Stay

Quiet, off the beaten path stay. The cabin was warm and cozy when we arrived and had all the amenities we needed. The drives to Breckenridge and Keystone were easy-peasy. Kristine was easy to reach before our stay. (We didn’t reach out during our stay.) oh, and the beds were super comfortable. We all had a great time!! We’d happily come back!

Stunning views in a cozy cabin

Beautiful place! Cabin had everything we needed. I would love to visit this place during the summer months and be able to explore more of the property. The road to get to the cabin was intimidating in the winter month specially after a snow storm. The driveway was steep so take heed the owners warning about needing a 4WD! It’s recommended but I would say it’s required for sure in winter! There is a fox that came up a few nights we were there and we absolutely loved watching it - specially the kids. The cabin had sleds on the property and we used them to sled down the driveway - probably one of the main highlights we enjoyed the most! Beds were super comfortable and the pellet heater downstairs was nice to sit by and kept the basement super cozy. Communication with the owners was great and quick responses for any questions we had. The local guy that looks over the place was very nice and a huge help to us when needed. Alma is our favorite town in the area - thoroughly enjoyed visiting the general store there. Only thing we did not get to enjoy was the hot tub due to some issues before we arrived. Overall we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!
