If you like to walk this is the place for you

Very safe area to do all the walking you want, enjoyed the culture and food in the small towns about 20-30 minute walk away, make sure you pack accordingly. There is no W/D. No restaurants in the immediate area (1/2 hour walk or a uber ride)

Very clean

We really liked the rooftop gathering area. We enjoyed meeting up with other guess on the roof top to watch the sunset. The idea of a pool on the roof was a great idea. You can swim around and not feel like you’re in a fishbowl with other guests staring out their windows and doors at you. Lol. the location is quiet and peaceful. The lobby has a number of public gathering spaces if you want to get away from the room and read a book or something. As you can see from the pictures, the lobby and gathering spaces have a modern and clean feel to them.

Problems

Good property, but needs to be managed better. Forgot to send us check in code, power went out for 36 hours as they didn't pay the power bill, laundry unit too large for space pushing unit into kitchen and blocking breaker box. Security guard was helpful sorting out errors of management company. On top of it all, this was a back up property given to us when our first rental cancelled out 1 week before our stay. VRBO was good about finding us a new place but is making the reimbursement process (for difference in cost between original property and second property) extremely difficult.

Nice condo - Poor service

The condo is nicely decorated, good location and looks good online. We had some issues which are considered 'minor': - Problem getting into wifi. Online booking people told us a different wifi signon/network than what was in the condo. Signin is on the modem on the kitchen counter. They ended up costing us out of pocket expense as we had to use our data - No extra blankets and when we inquired we were told we were allowed only the bedding provided. Had to put the beach towels on top of us to stay warm. - Sewer smell in the bathroom - had to leave the fan on the whole time to keep the smell away - Only 5 beach chairs for Maritima Golf guests. You can't use the other chairs at the beach as they are for Maritima Playa guests. If you sit in one security makes you move. Major issue: Plugged toilet which we tried to fix with the plunger but it was poor quality and would not work. Messaged about the toilet to have a plumber come to the unit. After many messages back and forth we waited until 7 pm for a reply to find out that no one could come until the next day. We went 21 hours with no working toilet in a one bathroom condo. Dealbreaker from our end as you should not have to get up in the night and go the lobby to use the washroom. Addressed this issue & was told because it's not a hotel they couldn't get a plumber out. If you're renting out condos a plan need to be in place for emergencies. No compensation was offered on our rental amount either. Will not rent here again

Do not stay in this condo.We never met, or heard from, our host during our two week stay.We experienced multiple problems, including, but not limited to, a leak under the kitchen sink, no laundry machines that were referenced and are still showing in the amenities photos, no bed covering so we had to sleep in our clothes to be warm enough, and a nonworking/unusable safe. I even emailed ahead of time to confirm the laundry machines and was told, yes, they are there. NOT!We had countless emails back and forth with Vrbo and Vacasa. Everyone was super nice and did NOTHING to help us. At one point we were told the concerns had been escalated to urgent and someone would call us within 30 minutes. That was two weeks ago. Appalled by the treatment we received. My review gets one star only for the very pleasant rooftop pool at Maritima Golf. Vrbo and Vacasa - never again.

Les communications avec le propriétaire ont été difficiles à notre arrivée, heureusement que nous avions une amie qui parlait parfaitement l'espagnol, car nous n'aurions pas eu accÚs au condo à notre arrivée malgré les informations reçus du propriétaire. Un code QR était manquant dans notre documentation et requis pour accéder au condo. La publicité identifie laveuse/sécheuse, aucun appareil de disponible. Coté positif, le condo est identique au photo et la propreté des lieux est excellente.

We had issues getting into the place since reception had no record of us. Apparently we were supposed to have a QR code which we got after an hour of back and forth with the property manager.No laundry facility in unit or in the building though one review said there was one in unit.No coffee table as shown in picture. Table leg was broken and propped into the corner which led to a huge upset.Building amenities were as advertised.
