We had a fabulous time at this upscale Capistrano Beach condo. The views from the living area and the master bedroom are glorious. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking and the patio is perfect for enjoying a glass of wine. We liked it so much we already booked a six-week stay for next summer. This one is a winner!

Awesome view, and wonderful townhouse

Awesome view of ocean, white cap waves, surfers, umbrellas on beach, and boats from the harbor. Very relaxing. We really enjoyed using the pickleball court and pool at the club house. The townhouse is well appointed, very comfortable. Looks like it was remodel recently and has new kitchen appliances, everything you need.

2 month stay

Overall the views were great of the Ocean and great location. The living area furniture needs to be e to placed as you could not sit on them as springs were coming through leather. We have lived in area for 8 years and understand ants but the house was infested both upstairs & downstairs. We had to constantly put traps our and spray but that did not help as they are in the walls of home. They need to have a regular treatment by a service but they do not have. I would not stay here again unless this is corrected as they were also in the beds. I notified management of the problem.

Gavin. We're sorry that you had such a terrible experience. We did what we could within the restrictions of VRBO’s pesticide policy. They do not allow the owner / managing agency to spray or treat for any pests as that would possibly cause harm to the guest – VRBO’s rules, not ours. The only recommendation we can provide is to spray 409 and wipe them up. We let you know that if you wanted to put out traps, which it seems that you did, that we would reimburse you for that cost. This is an attached townhome on both sides and we are addressing it with both neighbors as it may or may not be specific to this townhome. You did bring it to our attention that the sofa was uncomfortable. You also told us that you had made other concessions and brought a few of the outside patio chairs inside and that you were fine with that solution. So, as to not inconvenience you during your stay, the owner ordered a new sofa to be delivered after you checked out. If you wanted the sofa to be replaced we would have had it replaced right away.

Doheny Condo

We had some second thoughts about booking this home after reading the only review of the property. We were pleasantly surprised that we experienced nothing like the issues of the previous reviewer. It is a new listing on VRBO and a few things need to be done to make it even better. The fire table outside was old and was stuck on low and would blow out frequently from the wind. Servicing the table and installing a glass wind guard would solve this. Also the BBQ was old and the cover didn’t fit. In the kitchen a blender would be helpful along with more items such as pot holders, measuring spoons, cheese grater, and bbq tools. Owner might want to check the instant hot water heater. On several occasions, the shower got cold after 6 or 7 minutes of use. I would rate this house in its current condition 8.0 out of 10.

Had we been notified about some of those items during your stay we would have had them delivered asap and also very likely would have been able to address the bbq, fire table.
