This property was beautiful and peaceful. We had a retreat and the space fit all of us7. We had the opportunity to try the pool and jacuzzi. We had a great time. This space allowed us to have memorable moments. So grateful.

We had a great time. I wish we had been able to spend more time in the back yard. Claudia was very responsive to our questions and needs. I loved having my morning coffee by the waterfall.

50th Anniversary family trip

Our family enjoyed our stay at Claudia’s home! It had plenty of space for all of us. The pool and spa are a plus! We loved the backyard with the waterfall and all the landscaping. It was a very peaceful space! Our family highly recommends this property and all that San Diego has to offer!

Comfortable Stay in Quiet Neighborhood

Pros: convenient to San Diego attractions, nice neighborhood, plenty of street parking, wonderful backyard/pool area, the A/C, washer & dryer, internet worked well (did not use TVs), lots of books & toys for our 3 year old grandsonCons: need more accuracy in listing (size of pet allowed, extra pet fees), top dishwasher rack was broken, no drying rack for dishes that were hand washed, pool cover was not attached to the rollerSurprisingly, Claudia thought check-in time was 4pm even though it clearly says 3pm on the listing. She had to rush to get the house ready for our arrival.We did not mind being asked to take out the black & green bins on trash day. Overall, our family enjoyed our time together in San Diego.

Home away from home/Amazing backyard

This home has a well stocked kitchen, an umbrella and chairs for the beach, space for the group or alone time and was in a great neighborhood. Oh, and the pool and backyard were AMAZING! One of the beds was on the extra firm side but even the pull out couch bed was comfy. The upstairs was a little warm but fans were provided to help with that. There were a few creaks, squeaks and one of the back doors was tough to open and close but nothing of major concern. The host was also very communicative and helpful. We would absolutely book here again.

Beautiful home and not far from airport/MCRD San Diego. The tv's were a bit confusing, but we may have just been tired, we couldn't get one to turn on. Backyard very dark at night, but again, may have been we just weren't locating the correct light switches! My daughter's just switched on their cell phone lights and we found how to heat up the spa and the one light that we could find in the binder, so all was well. We would definitely stay here again, our whole family able to stay in one place was great. I saw a review that mentioned stripping beds, etc, but we didn’t see that so we did not do so, it wouldn't have been too big a deal, but we were on a massive time crunch leaving and literally flew out of the house. Also had no issues taking out the garbage and pulling the cans to the curb and back on trash day.

Nice Stay, But Be Prepared for Extra Scrutiny

Overall, we had a pleasant stay and the house itself was comfortable and mostly as described. The owner was very responsive and communicative. However, a few things detracted from the experience. The light switches were confusing to use, you couldn’t watch regular tv channels on the tv and the TV in the first bedroom would not turn on. We also found out at the last minute that the washing machine was out of order, which was frustrating since we had planned to use it.At checkout, we were asked to do quite a bit—stripping all the beds, gathering all the towels, emptying the trash, etc.—which seemed excessive considering there’s a cleaning fee. After our stay, the owner contacted me multiple times about issues she found, including dog holes in the yard (I went ahead and paid her for them) and scratches on the stair rail that we were unaware of.While the stay itself was mostly fine, and we left the house clean, just be aware that the property owner is very particular and will inspect everything very closely after your departure.
