Beautiful stay!

My husband and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon and had the most amazing time! Location is beautiful, with stunning views of the Tuscan hills and Florence below. Drive to Florence is about 25 minutes. The property itself was very charming, with plenty of outdoor seating to take in the scenery. Can’t recommend enough!

Fabulous villa overlooking Florence!

Loved the villa and Violetta! Spent our 40th anniversary here along with our daughter and son-in-law. Such a special hostess who graciously shared her villa and time with us. We could not have asked for a more perfect place.

Violetta is a wonderful, kind person. She provided excellent suggestions on local restaurants, sightseeing destinations and parking. This property is a great starting point to explore Florence and Tuscany. My wife and I stayed in this apartment and our daughter stayed in an adjacent studio apartment in the farmhouse. Beautiful grounds with great views of the countryside and Florence.

Beautiful Italy Country House

We enjoyed our stay at this rental. We have the dinner out in the backyard everyday and has a beautiful night light from the city. It is a country living within the city. We would like to rent this place again if we come back to Florence.

Excellent Host

Violetta was a wonderful host. She provided some wonderful insight for us on our first visit to Tuscany. She even offered us soup when we arrived late on the first day. We will stay again if Tuscany is in our plans.

Beautiful stay in the Tuscan hills

We loved the peace and quiet of this stay and the quaint farmhouse apartment. The small village a mile away was awesome with great steak and deli/bar. We wish we were still at this home watching the sunset over Florence. Violetta was so nice and accommodating. I would definitely go back!!!

Excellent base for visiting Tuscany

We really really loved the beautifully decorated place, the view to the Florence Duomo, and of course, our host, Violetta, so knowledgeable and warm. The place is not in the center of Florence, but if you want more than busy streets and tourists all around, it is a nice escape to the country side. What better place to think about all the nice things you've seen during the day than in between the olives, while looking at the Duomo. Thank you again Violetta, we had a wonderful time!!!

Idyllic Tuscany

From the view of Florence in the distance, to the Olive Grove right on property (and yes, Violetta presses her own brand of Olive Oil… OLIVIO), this Tuscan Retreat was everything we hoped it would be… quiet, peaceful, elegantly rustic, and breathtakingly beautiful. If you’re hesitating… don’t.

Peaceful Retreat!

A delightful blend of the old and the new! Just outside our door was a lovely garden filled with roses and flowers and stunning views of Florence in the distance. Surrounding the garden on a terrace below was a beautiful olive grove. It served as our peaceful retreat after exploring Florence, Pisa, or enjoying a day of wine tasting in the Tuscan countryside. Our host was incredibly kind and accommodating. We loved every moment of our stay!

Most beautiful place in Florence

It was like a fairy tail - so beautiful. Once we arrived at the house we never wanted to leave. The house has the most amazing view. The kitchen has every modern convenience. The owner of the home makes you feel so special and is so knowledgable on the area. We went for a wonderful hike right from the property. If I ever get back to this area I will only stay at this location. I can't say enough about this wonderful house!!

Perfect Spot for a Relaxing Getaway

We had a wonderful stay on Violetta’s property, just as expected based on all of her amazing reviews. Even during the hot days, the villa stayed cool and comfortable. The bed was cozy, the shower was great, and the space had so much charm. The view from the bedroom was absolutely breathtaking. We had the pleasure of meeting a lovely German couple and a friendly American family who were also staying on the property when we arrived, and we all shared a meal and chatted. It was lovely. We brought home some of Violetta’s own olive oil as a keepsake. Overall, it was a beautiful and comfortable stay. Thank you, Violetta!

Marvelous location in vineyards near Florence!

Comfortable cottage in peaceful hillside setting with sweeping views of the Florence countryside. Violetta, the owner, is a travel agent, and offered the best tips for the easy, short drive into Florence and free parking! The city of Siena is also a must see. We enjoyed our days in the city and our sunsets with a glass of wine on our lawn among the fireflies. Spectacular. We highly recommend this property and friendly, helpful Violetta. Our stay here was a favorite from our summer trip to Italy. Thank you Violetta.

Amazing rental with an even better host

It was our 20th anniversary trip. This place made the vacation. Violetta is an incredible host and I’m proud to call her part of the family now. The small village that the house is in is great. It has a small coffee shop that is great for breakfast or even a glass (or bottle) of wine. There is an absolutely wonderful restaurant very close. Violetta can set you up with a reservation. You will need a car here. Florence is only a short drive away as well as all the great medieval towns like Luca and Siena. I can not say enough about the location and the host. You will not be disappointed at all. The first drive in is a bit of a learning curve but after that it will become second nature. Enjoy sitting outside after a long day of exploring and watch the sunset over the Florence skyline while having a glass of wine. Paradise.

court séjour en Toscane

Nous nous sommes décidés très rapidement pour ce séjour en toscane et nous avons réservé cette location coup de coeur pour sa vue sur Florence. Réservation et confirmation en ligne très rapide. Violetta nous a très bien accueilli . Toutes les explications étaient données et meme plus : présentation de l'habitation, le fonctionnement de la location, les alentours (ballades...animation, petits commerces). Location qui N'A PAS D'ECRAN.... LE BONHEUR ! MERCI ...une vue a couper le souffle sur les collines / village toscans, les oliviers et Florence. Au mois de Février, nous n'avons pas eu froid , très bonne qualité de chauffage. Nous avons meme pu profité de l'extérieur en déjeunant dehors ! Les enfants ont de la place pour jouer en sécurité. Endroit à retenir. Merci de conserver des endroits pareils

1 semaine en Toscane

Très bien situé pour visiter la Toscane et Florence Très calme et en pleine nature avec vue sur Florence Logement parfait pour 4 personnes et très bien équipé et climatisé Très propre . Bref super endroit L’accès libre au potager et aux figues du jardin nous a régalé !!! La propriétaire était très disponible et nous a conseillé Merci à Violetta .

Raus aus Florenz

Wenn man dem Trubel in Florenz abends entfliehen will, findet man hier ein ruhiges, vollausgestattetes Quartier in fantastischer, ruhiger Lage, umgeben von viel Grün und mit toller Aussicht. Einzig das Schafzimmer ist ein wenig ungemütlich. Sonst ist alles perfekt und Violetta eine tolle Gastgeberin mit guten Tipps!

Amazing place in the quiet hills of Firenze!

We spent 3 nights here recently at the end of October and were spoiled with the views, the perfect weather, and an amazing host. We loved staying here! We even bought some delicious homemade olive oil from the host. The drive to and from the property is indeed interesting with the narrow roads, so be sure to rent a small car and drive slow. But once you get there, you'll love everything about it. It's charming, a bit rustic but with modern updates, amazing views, and an awesome host. Thanks for the stay! (Grant and Kate)

Es ist wie es ist

Ich war jetzt zum zweiten Mal in Folge in der Villa Violetta und es wird sicher nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein. Es bleibt ein herrlicher, zentral gelegener Ausgangspunkt, um einerseits die Toskana zu erkunden und andererseits bleibt man auch gern dort um sich von den Entdeckungsreisen ins Umland auszuruhen. Ein Ort, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Auf Violetta ist in allen Belangen Verlass, eine zugewandte und liebevolle Gastgeberin.
