Wake up to the sound of monkeys and birds in the trees.

When you walk the property, you will be walking through a beautiful jungle with a magical live cenote.

A beautiful pool tucked into the jungle is the perfect place to relax.

Our beach club MVNGATA is a 15 min walk or 5 min car drive where you have private access to the beach , outdoor showers, great food, and an infinity pool that overlooks the ocean. Enjoy wonderful food there and make sure you visit it at night to enjoy the moon.

The space
A nice 3 bedroom condo with 4 beds and 4 full bathrooms. Two beautiful balconies that overlook the beautiful jungle. The master has a jacuzzi to help you relax

You have access to the entire condo, the pool, play area, cook out area, a live cenote, and a magical beach club.

Could not contact Host, VRBO not helpful

We were unable to contact her access to property. We spent a lot of time with VRBO customer service, which was very frustrating. We were told that we needed to be at the property at check in time in order to get help rebooking or refund. We were unwilling to travel 4 hours with no secure accomodation. Our group of 4 people are over 70 years old. We tried to contact the host 3 days before, and VRBO attempted to reach her by several methods, so the chance that the host would miraculously show up was quite low. The first VRBO agent told us that if we couldn't access the property, they would refund our payment and they would help us find another property and it would be free. Too good to be true - of course. The next agent we spoke to, we spent a lot of time with. Each time there was a question, we were put on hold. Each time they got back on line, the story got worse. When they told us they may or may not refund our money, depending on the host, and paperwork.

Luxury in Playa Del Carmen!

Overall: Wonderful, hope to return I chose this property for two reasons: It included free admission to a great beach club, and the common area at the condo complex is a gorgeous section of what I'll call "edited jungle." Both items did not disappoint. The beach club is wonderful! There is usually a "cover charge" of USD 48 per person per day [and then you get $48 of food/drinks], which is more than I would usually spend; so getting to go there as a courtesy was fabulous. [Obviously, you still pay for what you eat/drink, but the food is great and the prices good]. The pool on the lower level is warm. The infinity pool upstairs is beautiful. The beach lounges are comfy and many are in the shade. There are hammocks! And on the beach, a few minutes' walk to the right, there's a swimming area protected by large blocks [? of concrete], where a novice snorkeler like myself can be kept quite happy since the fish hang out around the blocks. The common area at the condo is just marvelous. There are little trails through the trees, incidental waterfalls, fountains, tiny streams channeled through the trees, picnic tables in little clearings, cute footbridges, and three pools. There's a children's play area with equipment. The condo itself is spacious. There are three BR, two ensuite, and one with a bathroom just outside the door. There is an office area with a sofa and its own bathroom, but no privacy. 2nd floor, with elevator; overlooks the "jungle" area.
