The house was very clean, well supplied and well appointed, with everything we needed and more. Our group enjoyed our stay very much. Central would be nice but the room air conditioners worked well. The location was perfect for us.

This house was perfect for our day trips to Salem and Boston. Also explored the town of Marblehead and enjoyed walking out to the islands at low tide. House was clean and in a cute neighborhood. Host was communicative and accommodating. Great stay for our family of 4!

We enjoyed our stay at the house, it was a perfect spot for a small gathering for our daughter’s baby shower. The owners are very responsive to all of our questions we had.

This was definitely the cutest house we stayed in on our New England trip. We stayed in Marblehead when visiting Salem and it was a quick commute. Marblehead is also very nice! The house is so nicely decorated and very clean. Our host was very helpful with some adjustments to our travel plans due to the nor’easter that came through as we had to stay an extra night and they were very accommodating and had good communication. We had 5 adults and were all very comfortable with the accommodations. I would recommend this spot for sure!

Bill and his wife were amazing hosts. Very easy to reach if needed and the property itself was just perfect! Home was located in a beautiful neighbourhood and only took us about 10-12 minutes to drive into Salem. The property had everything you would need...movies, games, books, outdoor dining space, garden etc.. This home is a 10! We will definitely be coming back for a longer stay ;)

The house and communcation with the host was fantastic. The area is very quiet and located in a neighborhood. It fit our needs perfectly. We left a suitcase at the house and the host worked with us to make sure we were able to easily retrieve it. I highly recommend this host and this house to anyone looking for a nice alternative to the hustle and bustle of Salem. Downtown Marblehead was adorable and had fantastic restaurants.

This is a beautiful home in a great area the Home is clean and Cozy. The decore is very nice and Historical. I would not hesitate to book again in the future.

Family weekend

My youngest was graduating from Endicott and we needed a place for my 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren to stay as we do not live in MA.Perfect house for a quiet family dinner. Everyone enjoyed their stay. Many thanks to our hosts for helping to make it a memorable graduation weekend!

Great Getaway

The property was absolutely beautiful in a great neighborhood! Close walk to stores and a close drive into Salem for spooky fun! Property manager was kind and had great communication! I would definitely stay there again.

Loved this property! Home was beautiful and inviting and in a great location. We rented a car so quick trips to Salem were easy and the Marblehead area beautiful. Owner's had super fast response for a question we had and even left a gift for our arrival.

The Anchor House is a comfortable (not pretentious), cozy, and peaceful place for us to relax after a very busy wedding celebration.Bill was on top of communication with us and very accommodating to our needs. Thank you Bill.If we should ever return to Marblehead, we will definitely stay here.

The pictures do not do it justice. The house is beautifully maintained and decorated. As a family of 4, it had everything we need for the weekend. The location was great too. My kids said they want to stay longer next time. Thank you Bill and Lisa.

Warm and relaxing

Stayed in Marblehead for a Celebration of Life. The house was comfortable, had a large yard for the kids to play in and the 1 year old learned to climb stairs (totally his option LOL), Rooms are larger than you expect and plenty of room to find your own space. I would recommend it for a family and it is pet friendly. Thanks Bill for letting us stay there.
