We loved that it was so clean and things for the kitchen were so very organized and easy to find. Our dogs loved it for the large living room where they watched the cows outside and barked to say hello. I was so comfortable and homey. We will stay here again as we will visit again in the next few months.

We gave the property/experience five stars. Here's why.It was exactly what we expected. You get an impression from the listing's photos. That impression carried into the reality of walking into the front door. Walking in the front door (i.e. check-in) was surprisingly stress free. The house is conveniently located on the main road through the area, which we understood ahead of time. The third bedroom is accessed through the master bedroom, as was clear from the photos. ** No negative surprises! **The host made SO MANY EXTRA TOUCHES that rocked. A shelf of essentials on the refrigerator door. (Ketchup, mustard, mayo, cooking oil - I lost track.) COFFEE, a walk in area full of any kind of Kitchen Counter Appliance you'd want. A welcoming towel display in the bathrooms. Not only shampoo and body gel, but little things like Q-tips and flossers. (Saved my life when my travel floss ran out.)Plus all the usual things you expect in a rental. (Games, kitchen bowls, pots, spoons.)Looking at the photos again after the experience, I think they leave a few things out. The place has been upgraded in a few ways. The fire pit area is actually quite stunning. I've never seen one that looks that comfortable. The bathrooms have a lot more towels and racks than in the photos and look great in person!

Family time to destress

We take a "Grand" trip every year with my kid's two grandmothers. We look for a place where there is not a lot of distractions and activities going on around us so that we can really invest in the family time. This location was just that. We stayed there for the majority of the trip and cooked, enjoyed games and spent quality time together. The house is wonderful and has so many more amenities than mentioned. Beds are firm but comfortable. It is just right up the road from Lake Fork. Communication with host is great. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay! The decor is clean, minimalist, and very tastefully done—it really felt like having all the comforts of home. The big backyard was fantastic and offered plenty of space for our dogs. They especially loved watching the cows in the neighboring pasture! There’s also a wonderful fire pit area that would be amazing in the cooler winter months (with a horse shoe pit nearby). The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was fantastic, and the space felt super welcoming. Our host was very responsive and easy to communicate with, from check-in to check-out. Would definitely stay here again!"
