Very well maintained and beautiful front porch to sit on. Lots of steps to the bedroom so not good for any one who has difficulty walking. We enjoyed the breakfast one morning, too.
Itâs a beautiful location and very peaceful! The house was just as described and very clean. I would highly recommend staying here! The breakfast you can order is outstanding!
Our stay at the cute little cottage was excellent. They honestly have thought of everything that you would need to feel at home.
The breakfast was fantastic....We would say 10 out of 10. The location was perfect and the place may look super tiny from the outside but had 3 floors. Very spacious. Thank you for sharing!!! We will certainly be back when we are in the area next.
The stay was wonderful. Very peaceful area. Furniture was comfortable. The many signs explaining rules, policies and extra charges took away from the tranquility. The cottage is well maintained. Communication with Manager was great! We will stay again.
Wonderful place to stay, peaceful, quiet. I would definitely consider coming back the next time we visit the area. The breakfasts were wonderful and I would highly recommend this cottage!
Everything was clean. Food menu was exactly as stated. Atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing - away from the hustle & bustle. Communication and check-in was great. I would recommend it.
Tobie was raised on an Amish farm here in Ohio. He decided to leave the Amish and left home on his eighteenth birthday. Martha was raised Mennonite and while we appreciate alot of the good things we were taught we left the Mennonite church three years ago. We now attend a small home group in Sugarcreek. Tobie also owns his own business called Cornerstone Masonry. We love family and realize the importance of building lasting relationships.
When we climbed the hill to see this property it was the view that took our breath away. Then Tobie spotted a dip in the pasture outback where he envisioned a pond. We fell in love with it right away because of the country and the wide open space. We still dream of putting a pond in the pasture and putting more stone cottages around it.
We planned and built our brick home in 2003. A few years later we purchased the cottage where Martha's sister lived till 2012. In 2005 Martha's mother moved out in a property next to ours. It was in 2012 that we built the big brick shop and decided to put a loft on top of it. Now we are so happy that we get to share this beautiful setting with guest who want to relax and get away from the pressures of life. Nothing relaxes you quite like taking in an awesome quiet country view or enjoying a majestic sunset on a warm summer evening.
