Beautiful property

This was a well kept property. Gorgeous views of the beach, quick and easy access to eateries. Will definitely visit again!

Enjoyed our stay. However there was a lack of supplies such as trash bags and dish washing detergent. Master bedroom door to the balcony was left wide open upon arrival.

Wonderful condo beautiful views

It was a great condo. At first there was an odd smell and the maintenance man came immediately to pour something down the kitchen drain. That fixed it.It was a great place.

Perfect Vacation

The unit was EXACTLY as advertised, even down to the kitchen towels and fridge magnets. It was the perfect central location, on the beach, but just a short walk to ice cream. Extremely clean, and very welcoming. Loved every minute. If I had to have a negative, they only give 1 roll of tissue per bathroom and one roll of paper towels. We have two toddlers, so these didn't last long. But the little grocery store on the island has both for cheap when we ran out.

Great get away.

The condo was clean and just the right size. I love the slower pace of the Island and the room you have on the beach and in the pool. No crowds to fight. The beaches are beautiful and we say lots of dolphins, crabs and other sea life. This was my 3rd trip to the Island and I look forward to returning. The Inn is a great place to stay and this condo is also awesome.

Clean and close to lift

We wanted something close to lift for the kids and this unit fits the bill. Management was easy to contact and responded with questions promptly.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed here in one of these condos for 10+ years and this is first time I can’t give a 5 rating. Nothing major but we had to clean the master bath and the kitchen/fridge. The units are usually spotless but this one wasn’t. The only other complaint was more of a preference and that the deck furniture was not as inviting as the other condos we have stayed in. Now it did not stop us from having a fabulous time it was just a minor set back when we arrived but I’m honest when I’m asked.

Great family location. Enjoyed the island! Could use some updates & a good cleaning!

We wanted to go to a destination where there wasn’t much to do, not tempting the kids with water parks and big putt putt places, just the beach and pool. This place for the bill. The condo complex is fine. Nothing fancy, just as described. I contacted the owner as soon as we arrived as the room was not cleaned - everything was covered in dust, dishes were dirty, there were old spills/urine around the toilet, etc. Once we showered in the master tub, the water drained extremely slow so I had to shower in standing water. Never got a response from the owner so I reached out to VRBO who got me in contact with the complex manager and they fixed the tub right away!!! They were very friendly as was the maintenance person. Overall I’d recommend this resort and this room but hopefully it gets cleaned. Check in was super easy & enjoyed having keyless entry. We really liked that it was small & several ppl we met actually live there & were very nice. Most people rent golf carts to ride around but they were sold out for our dates. We rented beach chairs from Chaise n Rays & I highly recommend them. NO hassle as they deliver and pickup directly to the beach & out your name on them & you can order online. Pirates pizza was delicious & so was island rainbow ice cream! The gas station & nearby dollar general were very sketchy at night so I’d recommend going before dark.

Cute and convenient, but.....

The property itself was amazing! We love Dauphin Island and everything it has to offer. This condo was well stocked and had everything we needed in a great location. The problem was the cleanliness. It was HORRIBLE!!! There was food on dishes and sheets had not been changed since the previous guests. Hairs in the sheets and mascara on the pillows. We found extra sheets in the closet to change them with since we arrived so late on Saturday. Those sheets were even worse. Covered in dried mucus and boogers, like the previous guests were sick and just blew their noses on the covers. Not one set, but 3. Ridiculous. We arrived late on a Saturday so no one answered the number we were provided. We tried again Sunday, no answer "until normal business hours on Monday". We were stuck with having to buy cleaning supplies and deal with it ourselves. Also the master toilet was broken and we had to manually flush it by lifting the tank top. Really convenient with children. We called Monday morning to report, nothing was done, except asking if we wanted the toilet fixed, which we didn't want maintenance to come with small children there. We have called and emailed with many photos and no one has reached back out to us. The property is great, well stocked and would have been a perfect vacation spot, if it weren't for the disgusting cleaning. It's sad because I'm sure the owners have no idea that their "cleaning fee" really isn't paying for anything. Get a new housekeeper

Much Needed Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 10th year staying at The Inn. This is the first time in the unit 412. I must say that thus unit has been the most well stocked to date. The furnishings were nice and comfy as well. The only suggestion I have is for some type of bar height table and chair to sit on the balcony to see over the railings. The view was wonderful.
