Big Blue Chalet - A Mountain View Getaway

This large, private home was built in 2023 and suits everything from group stays and gatherings to romantic getaways or working remotely. The standout feature is the sweeping 180° views overlooking the White Mountains. Just minutes off I-93, the home remains quiet and secluded thanks to its elevated mountainside setting.

Big Blue is a 3 bed, 3 full bath chalet located in Thornton NH. Popular local destinations include:

THE SPACE:

GREAT ROOM - the main living room has sky high ceilings and windows facing the east for a phenomenal sunrise view. The dining area has seating up to 6.

KITCHEN- Brand new kitchen, open to the great room complete with an island with stools. Fully stocked with all the kitchen gadgets and appliances you would need. Step right outside on the deck to relax with amazing mountain views.

BASEMENT SPACE - Recently renovated "bonus space" that allows access to a washer/dryer, as well as sliding doors that exit to the backyard area.

MASTER BEDROOM - Second floor bedroom with a king size bed, dressers, full length mirror, and a closet.

GREEN BEDROOM - Main floor bedroom with a queen size bed, dressers, and mirror.

BLUE BEDROOM - Main floor bedroom with a queen size bed, dressers, and mirror.

MASTER BATHROOM - Full bathroom with a glass-sliding door shower and heated floors.

Overall a great getaway house! The morning views/sunrise are incredible, and the house is a nice, secluded area. Communication with Dana was great - she was quick to respond and very professional. The only reason I took a star off was cleanliness - the house itself was very clean but there were lady bugs in the couch, beds, bathrooms, etc. Additionally, some of the towels in the bathrooms had hair in them. Besides these two small points, I would definitely recommend! We had a great time at the house.

This is a great property with a great view. We were able to see the golf course across the valley that we just played on. The house was clean and everything was labeled well. Great communication from the host as I had a couple of questions along the way.

quick stay for grad ceremony

access to 3rd bathroom and washer/dryer was locked. Reached out twice to host who never responded . We were finally able to get the lock open but would have been nice to hear back letting us know if there was a key. Oven filthy tried to use smoked out the house, tv remote in living remote does not work even after battery change , Master bedroom had multiple lights bulbs burnt out..Master bedding had a funky smell (not the sheets). The place is great and the location and view can’t be beat it just needs some attention of those types of things. The host was nice enough to let us in early as I requested but said no worries if this could not be done and was great with communication during this but then it ended there.

Beautiful spot! Gorgeous cozy home!

The house was clean neat and fully stocked! Plenty of room for our group. Very nicely furnished and decorated with all full baths! Stunning view of the mountains and there were even fireworks across the way the night we stayed. Would definitely rent again and stay again. Close to everything yet private and secluded!

This place is absolutely beautiful! Great views, very modern amenities in the home and nice fire pit for hanging out. The host was also very responsive and gave detailed information for the stay and check out process.

Modern farmhouse with a view

This brand new, well designed home feels straight out of hgtv with a view to die for! We stayed just the weekend but I hated to leave. We had our 14 month old with us and the house is not baby proofed, but we knew that when we booked the house. We managed quite well. The kitchen is well stocked and the mattresses are very comfortable. The check in and out was very smooth and the property manager was very responsive.

Brought my family here for a quick overnight and everyone was sad to leave! The house is GORGEOUS. The views, spectacular. The host was so hospitable and friendly. Will absolutely be returning!

Wonderful house!

Brought the kids to snowboard for the first time and I'm glad we selected this rental property. Location was great since it's 20 minutes to Loon or Waterville. Very clean and new house. Would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

A wonderful property for a weekend ski trip with a group of friends. Only 20 minutes from Loon mountain. Very nice (new) cabin with all the amenities we needed for our stay. Host communicated very well and no issues whatsoever. Can’t wait to return for a future trip.
