DO NOT BOOK THIS !!! Go stay at the hotel Eastport instead… way cheaper, they have a bar, they have balcony rooms that overlooked the lake, and it is very clean. … the phone number for the host was disconnected…..We never could get a hold of our host. We were there with no place to stay… Never responded to us …he never responded to Vrbo people had to rebook us someplace else and they were fantastic but even book this property I told VRBO they should take it off their list and refuse to let him be a host…

Enjoyed closeness to Brownwood Paddock. Not true 2 bedroom, 2 beds; however no sofa and no sitting chairs (had to sit on counter stools or desk chair to watch TV.) Clearly not a nonsmoking unit. Enjoyed size .

You were a pleasure to have been our Very First Guest, you treated the townhome as if it were your own, and I was never luckier than to have you guys not only for a pleasurable experience, did not come back to any disappointment whatsoever, and you also taught us a great lesson in hosting! Major improvements have been made, including additional seating, a beautiful granite, countertop bar with Keurig machine, ninja and whatever other gadgets you can dream up. We have also implemented a 100% non-smoking policy. If you smoke, you are welcome to go out on the patio. All I can say it was wonderful to have you guys as our first guests, and our goal is to be a top Vrbo location!

TOTAL RIPOFF

My wife and I left the property to find other accommodations after 45 minute in the unit. The unit was not as depicted on VRBO. It was filthy, hairballs on the bathroom floor, mold on the tile, and window ledges that hadn't been cleaned for some time. The unit smelled liked smoke covered by air fresheners, assume that's why the windows and rear door were opened when we arrived. Better yet, after only being in the unit for 45 minutes VRBO refused to refund our money. And even better, I have a text from the owner saying VRBO didn't pay him either. We are DONE with vrbo!

Unfortunately, I ran into a squatter on this specific instance. Obviously, the person did not want to pay for the week he reserved, and after the guest attempted a charge back, Vrbo decided that this person was not telling the truth and ruled in our favor. The review by this person is obviously a retaliatory way to try to discredit our reputation, because he did not get his way. Occams Razor, and you be the Judge. We want all of our guests to be able to escape; in a very complicated world that we live in, and be able to let loose and enjoy themselves, in a fun and traditional manner. We look forward to hosting you!
