Tranquility, Magnifique View From The Sun Chambre, dans l'historique vallée de Shenandoah

Blueberry Hill Farm suite de vacances est situé à mi-chemin entre Staunton et Lexington, dans l'établissement d'un pays serein et pratique de l'I-81 et facile à trouver. La suite est dans la partie supérieure de notre grande maison avec une entrée séparée par le porche à l'étage qui est pour votre usage privé. Notre caractéristique exceptionnelle est la salle de soleil / salon toute l'année où vous avez une vue magnifique sur la ferme, l'étang, l'habitat de la faune, les montagnes lointaines et la nuit les étoiles. La suite comprend également une chambre climatisée avec un lit antique queen et un lit de repos, cuisine entièrement équipée, et salle de bains avec douche. Linge de lit, serviettes, ustensiles de cuisine, vaisselle, produits de base, café, thé, crème et des édulcorants sont fournis. Vous êtes libre d'utiliser le gril à gaz extérieur. Une télévision et un lecteur DVD sont disponibles. Les enfants de 12 et plus sont les bienvenus. La suite ne est pas adapté pour les animaux.
Nous vous invitons à profiter de la ferme: les chèvres sont la principale attraction, en particulier au début du printemps, lorsque les enfants sont petits et plus enclins au contact humain (et si mignons!). Nous avons des champs de foin, de luzerne et parfois de maïs ou de blé. Promenez-vous dans les bois jusqu'à un grand étang rempli d’achigan à grande bouche et de poisson-chat. Apportez votre équipement. Les clients signalent la grande pêche! Observez la faune ou détendez-vous simplement sur le porche et profitez de la sérénité de la campagne.
Il ya tellement de choses à faire dans ce domaine! Dans Lexington prendre une calèche visite de la ville historique, ou assister à des événements à Virginia Horse Center. Dans Staunton prendre dans une pièce à Blackfriars Theater de Shakespeare American Center, ou visiter le musée de la culture Frontier. À proximité, optez pour une visite et dégustation à Rockbridge Vineyard, randonnée sentiers de montagne, vélo le long des routes de campagne pittoresques, aller «antiquités», ou prendre une route panoramique le long de la Blue Ridge Parkway (seulement 15 minutes). We enjoyed meeting Jean and Frank (and their goats!) during our peaceful stay at their home. The space was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. It is convenient to Lexington and Staunton. The nearby church bells played hymns along with the hourly tolls, adding to the serenity in this beautiful part of VA. The old graveyard at the church contains the graves of several veterans of the Revolutionary War and War of 1812, a reminder of the sacrifices our forefathers made in this, the 250th Anniversary year of our great country. McCormick's Mill, Wade's Mill and the Factory Antiques Mall in Staunton were highlights.

Fall Getaway

My husband and I enjoyed the peaceful beauty of the Blueberry Hill Farm. We enjoyed all the thoughtful touches and everything that we needed was available. The fishing at the pond was a highlight for him and there were several wildlife sightings while there. We would recommend staying here if ever in this area.

Perfectly peaceful!

We just loved staying on the farm. The upstairs apartment was a perfect getaway. The porch was our favorite place to just relax. The Debrot's were wonderful hosts. This was conveniently located to Waynesboro, Staunton and Lexington. Perfect for exploring the area.

Rural and peaceful

We loved sitting on the screened porch looking out across the landscape. Having a mini kitchen was perfect and we really appreciated all the items (tea etc) that were available. The bedroom was beautifully furnished (even nicer than the photos), very clean and very comfortable. And Jean was a wonderful host. All in all a great stay.

Peaceful, Great Location

Overall, my husband and I had a great stay at Blueberry Hill Farm. The location was perfect for us to go hiking and to visit local attractions such as Natural Bridge. We also enjoyed fishing and relaxing on the property, which was very quiet and peaceful with beautiful views. The hosts were very accommodating and willing to answer any questions we had. All in all, we had a great weekend.

Beautiful farm stay in Shenandoah Valley!

What a wonderful stay! The hosts thought of everything! I traveled solo and for business so I did not get to enjoy all the adventures they had noted but I will come back a few days earlier next time and explore their beautiful farm and surroundings.

Peaceful country setting

My husband and I needed some quiet and this is exactly what we got. It was so pleasant sitting out on the deck or the sunroom in the evening, or breakfast in the morning. Our hosts were very nice and accomodating. When a small issue arose, Jean was so pleasant to work with, and very quick to make it right. They are very good people.

Awesome!

Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Beautiful home and Jean and Frank were super hosts! I felt like I stepped back in time to a more genteel and peaceful time. It was quiet with no worries about safety. The sunporch was wonderful as well as the comfortable bed. Goats, cat and dog, added just the right touch to sit on the porch looking out over the countryside. The pond was a slight walk which I did not attempt with my bad knee after a day of browsing in downtown Staunton. Town was amazing on a Saturday when the streets is blocked off to allow carefree strolling and socializing with the wonderful people there. Scenery is unmatched anywhere, with complete country laid-back atmosphere! Highly recommend this home away from home!!

Just like home

My wife and I just spent five nights at this property, and loved it. We felt very much at home from the moment we arrived. Our view from the sunroom porch allowed us to enjoy all of the beauty of the farm, including the antics of the goats. With Covid-19, we brought most of our meals back to the house for relaxing, quiet dining. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect Relaxing Mountain Getaway

My partner and I had a great weekend here. It was a perfect location for exploring the mountains and visiting the nearby cities and tourist sites. Or you can stay on the property and enjoy the mountain view from the sunroom, fishing in the pond, and watching the goats. This property gives the flexibility to make the vacation what you want. The kitchen is small but well-stocked with all the essentials. The hosts were very thoughtful and hospitable. They had great information available for food and activities. Would definitely stay here again!

Charming country suite

We spent a wonderful long weekend at Blueberry Hill Farm this autumn. My husband enjoyed fishing in the pond and we both loved drinking coffee and watching the goats from the farmhouse porch! Jean and Frank are wonderful hosts and check in was very easy. The suite has everything needed for a nice stay. We were rejuvenated after our peaceful sojourn at Blueberry Hill Farm and hope to return soon!

Drinking water was provided to the Hunts in the form of bottled water. Occasionally we have periods of time when there is sediment in our well water (which we filter out). We have been assured that the water is safe to drink and that the sediment comes from deep in the limestone bedrock. However, at these times, as a precaution we provide bottled water to our guests. Blueberry Hill is a working farm which guests typically understand and desire for a change in scene. For the future we have stressed this in the updated description on HomeAway/VRBO so there can be no misunderstanding.
