Make yourself at home at the Palmetto Cottage where Greer’s world class dining, shopping, parks and events are only blocks away. With sleeping accommodations for up to nine guests, bring your family, friends and well-behaved dogs to this charming three bedroom, two bathroom home located in the heart of downtown. Walk north three blocks to all the dining and shopping Greer Station has to offer, or walk one block south to the Greer Center for the Arts with its walking trail and playground.

Upon entering the home using convenient keyless entry, you’ll be welcomed into the cozy sunroom where french doors open to a patio and spacious backyard where you can spend your evening grilling out or sipping a beverage. The well-stocked kitchen offers the amenities and conveniences of home for your gatherings and there are abundant sitting areas around the house to visit with your guests or curl up with a good book. The master bedroom offers a king bed, a newly finished ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet with a washer and dryer. The next bedroom offers a queen bed and ample closet space. The third bedroom which connects to the second full bathroom offers a twin bed and full size futon. Down the hallway, guests will find a charming living room with a queen sleeper sofa, gas logs, TV with a Roku, and a beautiful picture window where you can catch a glimpse of downtown Greer through the trees.

Greer’s Downtown area is affectionately named Greer Station, paying tribute to the importance of the railroad that has existed in this area since before the city was incorporated in 1876. An active track still runs through the heart of the town about ⅓ of a mile from the Palmetto Cottage. While sound machines are provided in each bedroom, guests at the Palmetto Cottage should expect to hear the train during their stay and should also expect to experience the sights and sounds of a small city, including vehicle and foot traffic, on the street outside the home.
