We had an excellent stay for our “Tribe” weekend with 8 kiddos and 7 adults. There was plenty of space and bathrooms. Each bed had 2 towels and wash cloths and there was plenty of toilet paper (small things you think of with so many kids!). Beach access was extremely easier and the large shaded table down stairs made lunch time a breeze. Highly recommend for large groups with kids.

Overall a great stay! The house sits in a great location steps from the water, and was clean and tidy. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that the owners of a neighboring house had obnoxiously loud music to the point you couldn’t hear your own speaker on the beach.

Great stay!

We had a great stay! location was amazing and house was clean! Their were some neighbors who left their dogs unattended on the porch all day and they were non stop barking but we called customer service and they got the issue taken care of within no time. Will def be looking to booking with Bolivar Vacations for our spring break next year!!

Superb!

This is the second year my ladies group have stayed at Mimosa Beach and we hope to return next year too! The accommodations are excellent and the staff are so helpful. Our coffee pot went out and within an hour, they had a new one for us! They go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable!

Got a little bit of a rocky start when the refrigerator would not get cold. They sent out a repair person on the second day but the refrigerator didn’t get cold until the third day. They did bring another smaller unit which allowed us to go to the grocery store. We received a nice credit from VRBO. Everything else was perfect. A great place to stay for a large family.

PERFECT!

This home was perfect! It was beautifully done and just spotless! I need to say that again SPOTLESS! There is a nice yard right before the beach where the kids played ball but it only took seconds to get their toes in the ocean. We had 18 and the home was very spacious. The bathrooms were gorgeous and had plenty of shampoo & cond. The kitchen had everything we needed with enough dishes, silverware, knives, and cookware. I would most definitely recommend this home! Definitely! I would most like to share with you about customer service. BOLIVAR VACATIONS are some fantastic folks! I really mean it! All of them were so very sweet and attentive! Thank you so much! Our vacation was perfect! Oh 
 if someone was threatening with a stick that I had to name at least one con about the property. The only thing I could come up with would be a fire pit. The kids wanted to do s’mores.

Great House

We took our annual family vacation this year and chose Bolivar Vacations as usual. This is our 3rd trip using this company. They are always great to work with. The house was absolutely great! The rooms were spacious and well appointed. We loved that there were bathrooms for each room upstairs. They were perfect for our grown kids and their families. Our 90 year old dad came with us. It was nice that he had his own room as well. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed. The A/C worked great. The views were amazing. The only thing I wished were different was a softer bed. If you like firm mattresses you will be very happy. I would go back in a heart beat! We loved being so close to the beach. It was great to be able to walk back to the house for snacks or whatever we forgot. Can't wait for our next vacation with Bolivar Vacation group.

Good - 3 Stars

The house was just ok.The kitchen was way too crowded with chairs but that was the only eating area. What people might need to know is that the house is on stilts. There are 30 stairs up. Also,because it is so high it sways all the time. We got there on a red flag day so the house was rocking!As far as the house,there was not enough family room or showers for 13 of us. The toilet seat in the bathroom was totally loose and would slide around. It was very irritating. Overall we enjoyed our beach time and the warm days and found some really great places to eat.

Mimosa Beach House

We have never stayed in a rental that had a better equipped kitchen! Everything about mimosa was well done, clean and ready to make you feel at home. We will definitely rent again. We did have a hard time with the grill, but I think that was more the high winds off the beach than anything else.

Gilchrist Get Away

Very well appointed property, great decks and nice quiet beachfront. Was perfect for a quick 4-day get away with just my wife and I for part of the time and the whole family for Sat/Sunday.Virtually new place and great layout of deck and spots to enjoy the ocean!

Very close to beach

The house was clean and easy to check in to, with about a 1 minute walk to the beach. The only issues we experienced were the smoke alarms going off about 5-6 times randomly. Maintenance was quick to come fix it the first time, but they went off after that a few more times. Also, we had no problems with this, but the house slightly sways due to how high up it is for those who may have issues with this.

Fabulous for our teacher retreat!

This was SUCH a perfect choice for our school's teacher retreat at the end of the year. We were able to get training and planning done during the day, and have time in the afternoon and evenings for socializing and going out. The house is so beautiful and well-stocked. It had everything we needed for cooking our meals - a blender, kitchen tools, slow cooker, even a couple disposable foil pans. The bedrooms are spacious and beautiful, and even with lots of people, there was plenty of bathroom space. The house is literally right at the edge of the water, and just 10 minutes or so down the road from stores and restaurants. The communication ahead of time was really good, and checking in and out was very easy. There was nothing I would have changed. Thank you for an amazing time!

Nicely Appointed

Beautiful house with a fully loaded kitchen! Sharp knives for chopping (a real treat for a vacation rental!). A short walk to the beach. Nice bedrooms/bathrooms. A few issues with the smoke alarms, but maintenance was quick to come help when called.
