Welcome to your coastal sanctuary in the heart of Port Aransas, Texas! Palm Down & Relax is a gorgeous, two-story split-level vacation house with a shimmering private pool & the perfect mix of contemporary design and beachside charm. Offering two distinct levels, each with their own living room & kitchen, this Port A vacation home is ideal for families traveling together. With five bedrooms, four bathrooms and ample outdoor living space, Palm Down & Relax is the ultimate retreat for a group of up to 12 guests.

Inside, you’ll discover two levels of well-designed comfort, each individually accessible from the outside. No matter which level you choose to hang out in, you’ll find it easy to relax with plush furnishings, large Smart TVs and balcony or patio access to the outdoors. Two stylish kitchens are fully equipped with all the appliances & gadgets you need to prepare and serve your favorite dishes. You’ll have convenient bar counter seating for a quick bite or to chat with the cook. Dine inside at the table or head outside and savor a meal in the coastal breeze.

Palm Down & Relax offers five spacious bedrooms. Two king-size bedrooms, each with sliding glass door access to the patio, are located on the first level. On the second level you’ll discover two additional king-size bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bathroom and the kids’ bunkroom with a twin-over-full bunkbed and bonus twin-size trundle. Each bedroom is thoughtfully designed for rest & relaxation with plush bedding, Smart TVs and plenty of closet space. Additional amenities at Crane’s Nest include a full-size washer & dryer, and free Wi-Fi.

It’s easy to spend days at Palm Down & Relax. Start each morning with a quick dip or swim. Amazing property!

The house was perfect for our group of 4 couples. The rooms were situated to offer privacy and most had there own restrooms. Conveniently located very close to the beach, stores, and restaurants.

Friendly Vacay!

We were absolutely pleased with the home. Everything was clean and the beach was easily accessible. There were 10 of us and we all slept in our own room and comfortably. I would definitely love to rent this home again in July for our family vacation. Thank you so much for opening your home to us!

Family Vacation Trip

Great property location and nice landscaping. Did have a delay and an issue checking in and had to contact management services as the code provided was not working. Their response was good. One bathroom did not have a mirror and was inconvenient for those sharing that bathroom. Lastly, other than us missing the details that there was no indoor stairs access to the second level it made unloading/loading challenging, and finding/coordinating home kitchen accessories a bit of a challenge as it was a hodge-podge from previous stays. Overall our stay was good. Everyone enjoyed the pool and the property was a short 7-10 minute walk to the beach.

The house is very comfortable and the pool is amazing. The dual layout Split can be a bit odd if you are all trying to be together but you can definitely make it work. The pool area is definitely amazing and location can't be beat. Only things I'd recommend addressing to be a truly great experience is:1) The ant problem in the yard. There are fire ants everywhere outside. Pest control could help with this. We all got bit a few times.2) They are missing some very basic things (salt, pepper, etc ..) and only give you a "starter kit" for basic needs like toilet paper, paper towels, soap, trash bags. It's kind of strange that for this price they can't even give you enough of these items for a few days. It would cost less than 15 to provide enough of these items for at least 3 days. Instead we have to run out after dinner to buy trash bags because we only had one...Overall a great stay but could improve a few things for a truly perfect stay.

Great family get away

This property was fantastic for our get away with our adult children and their significant others. The top floor was perfect for all 6 of them to stay while we (parents/grandparents) stayed on the bottom floor. both floors have kitchens and are not connected by an interior stairway which made it perfect for them to have their privacy and stay up as late as they wanted without being too loud for anyone on the bottom floor who wanted to retire early. Not to say that some of us did not stay upstairs and stay up late with them but it was nice to have the segregation. The pool was perfect when we returned from the beach to have it to ourselves and hang out as late as we wished. The owners were super fast in responding to any questions we had prior to our arrival and the management company responded quickly once we arrived. This was the day after the huge rainstorm and they sent someone right away to clean the pool. We will definitely stay here again if it is available.
