About this space
Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located safe cottage. This home is located in the heart of down town La Verne. It has has been completed remolded with a brand new kitchen, bathroom, floors, open concept with new furniture. It is within walking distance to stores , restaurants and the Pomona fairplex. It’s a 5 min drive to down down Claremont and The Claremont Colleges. Renovations to the yard are in the works of creating a drought tolerant environment.
This house includes a front yard side yard and backyard with a fully fenced yard with lots of private parking.

Loved our stay at College Cottage! Amanda is a wonderful host and the house had everything we needed. It was an easy walk to old town La Verne, convenient to the local colleges and everything we wanted to do in the area. We would love to stay again in the future!

Summer Stay

We really enjoyed staying at College Cottage. The house was as pictured, had everything we needed, and was a perfect fit for exploring the area and visiting our daughter at one of the local colleges. Amanda is a wonderful host, and we loved that we could walk into old town Laverne! We would definitely stay again.

College weekend visit

We enjoyed our stay in this home close to University of La Verne. Comfortable beds and space to relax in the living room, spacious modern kitchen, and lovely covered patio and backyard. The owner was responsive and flexible with our schedule. A great place for us to relax with our college student and tour Southern California.

Clean and cozy

Nice little house close to downtown. Everything was clean, nice back yard and had a couple of beach cruisers to ride around. Close to down town food and shops. We will definitely be back.

College Cottage is a little gem with everything you need walkable to Old Town La Verne. We were walking distance to family who live nearby and having our own space was perfect. Amanda was a great host who was responsive and thoughtful. Thank you Amanda!

Charming Cottage

The college cottage was wonderful. My husband and I stayed there for 7 days. It was very clean, well appointed and nicely decorated. The town of La Verne is a little gem with pleanty of restuarants and shops. It's also very close to the Pomona Fairplex. The host was very helpful as well.

Above & beyond our expectations!

We absolutely loved our stay here at the cottage home. Perfect for anyone wanting a nice get away in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and restaurant row in La Verne. Mostly we spend a lot of time on this trip just relaxing at the house. The shower has a tub, which believe you me, after a day of out n about is awesome to come home to a relaxing bath. We Absolutely loved making meals together in their kitchen (which is like my dream kitchen). The couch is so comfy. WiFi connection is good, although we hardly used it. Also enjoyed being out in the backyard. Whether we were doing laundry or just enjoying the morning and evening air together
overall it was the perfect getaway home & experience. We cannot Thank our wonderfully accommodating host Amanda enough for thinking of everything and making our vacation time so special. We hope to come again soon.

Fijn huis op een goede locatie.

Het huis had alles wat we nodig hadden. Omdat we veel dingen gingen bezichtigen zonder rond te reizen was de locatie erg geschikt. Het ligt aan de buitenkant van LA. Hierdoor sta je minder in de file. Ook de directe omgeving is erg mooi. Je kunt er prachtige wandelingen maken.
