OUR BEST FEATURES
Welcome to our Mountain House Retreat just minutes from Lake Wallenpaupack. The area is brimming with quaint little shops in both Hawley and Honesdale and for the foodie type there are plenty of "hole in the wall" restaurants to visit. Golf at Woodloch Springs while the ladies take a spa day at the Woodloch spa. Afterwards spend the afternoon at Three Hammers Winery or stop at the Wallenpaupack Brewery on your way home. There are so many places to visit in the area you will have plenty of things to do.
THE SPACE
Our Living Room has a large flat screen TV, comfy Papasan chair and door out to the back deck.
The Kitchen is quaint but functional and is fully equipped for prepping all your meals.
The main floor has 1 bedroom and the main bathroom. The bathroom is large with double sinks, tub with shower and washer/dryer. Upstairs is a smaller bedroom with a double bed and just outside the bedroom is a small loft with futon.
Returning back downstairs, there is a small 2nd living room that can double as a bedroom with a sofa bed if needed.
GUEST ACCESS
Access to the property is contactless and keyless. Our Digital Welcome Guide is a complete guide to your arrival, stay and departure for your rental home. The Welcome Guide is sent when the required forms and information is received.
Guests have access to the whole house.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE - BOOKING REQUIREMENTS
75% of guests need to be 30 or older with an exception for children traveling with their parents. The remaining 25%, will need to be 25 and over.
This home is for families and respectful guests, it is not a party property. All bookings are required to sign a short-term lease after the booking has been accepted to satisfy community requirements.
WHO WE ARE
This property is managed by a local real estate agent. Property Owners rely on our team to book and manage their home for you and to make sure your rental needs are met. To make sure each property is well maintained, each reservation will require a rental agreement to be signed. The Rental Agreement is posted on this site and is available for review at check out. In addition to the Rental Agreement posted on VRBO, you will receive a Reservation Form that is required to be completed within 48 hours of receipt.
Our communities are also governed by township Rental Ordinances which impose certain rules and regulations for owners.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Our rental management includes 24-hour emergency response for any issues that arise.
Parking is limited to 2 cars.
Day Guests are limited to 3 guests and they must also be included on the Reservation Form and the dates they will be there.
LAKE INFO
There is no lake access with the property. If you want to swim in the lake you must use the public beach 5 minutes away (MDW - LDW). For launching boats/Kayaks you can use the public Launch (1.5 miles away), or Waltâs Landing Marina(2 blocks away). If available Walt's sometimes has rental slips (Call ahead).
Public Beach â Sandy beach â This is the only public access to Lake Wallenpaupack if you are not renting a lakefront home. You do have to pay for entry.
-Palmyra Township Public Beach is located on the northeast section of the lake and is home to numerous picnic spaces and pretty waterfront views, and itâs the perfect family-friendly destination. Beachgoers can swim in this lakeâs tranquil waters from the parkâs access points while enjoying the sun on its sandy shores. Lifeguards on duty, snack bar, volleyball, picnic tables, charcoal grills, and bathroom/changing facilities.
HOUSE RULES
No Smoking inside â smoking outside only. Must not leave any butts and ashes behind
NO FIREWORKS or discharging of any firearm is not permitted. Includes BB, air, pellet, paint guns. Day Guests
Quiet time 11pm â 8am â this is a family-oriented neighborhood, no late-night parties allowed. Voices carry at night when itâs quiet. If you are out late at the firepit or on the deck, please keep noise to a minimum.
