Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely time at Sanibel Moorings.Weather was perfect every day and the grounds are beautiful. Unit #521 has a great view of the Gulf but the apartment itself was outdated. I expected more for the price. Master bathroom was small and the shower and door situation was difficult to navigate.

Great Place to Stay for a Family Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our rental experience at Sanibel Moorings. Staff was friendly and helpful when we telephoned before our arrival and also when we checked in and rented towels. When we arrived at the condo, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the photos posted online did not do the space justice--the space was much larger than the pictures led us to believe. The third bedroom setup was perfect for our family--we were able to close the room partition for bedroom space for our two oldest children. There was plenty of space in the twin bedroom room for a pack n play for our baby, and my brother and his wife had their own suite with a king bed and bath and their own private lanai. We found the beach to be beautiful and very close to our condo. We never struggled to find a beach umbrella or chairs, though it was busy and the weather was gorgeous. Laundry facility was easy to use. The pools are small, but perfect for our young kids. There is even a tiny kiddie pool at 2' deep which worked well for our almost 2-year-old to have her own space to splash around more independently. The grounds are just gorgeous and well maintained. We would definitely stay again!

February beach getaway

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Unit was clean and well stocked with towels and linens. Management responsive. Enjoyed beach umbrellas and recliners. Was great to literally be able to get out of bed and wander down to beach. Staff did a great job of taking pandemic precautions. Enjoyed tennis courts.

Unit 521 was perfect

Stayed here with my elderly mother who lives in Florida and was very tired of her own four walls. We came here hoping it would be a clean and safe stay during the pandemic. Could not have been more perfect. Unit 521is a ground floor unit close to the parking lot and to the beach - so minimal walking. The front lanai provides an excellent view of the beach and the wonderful sky. The no-touch check in was seamless; the unit sparkling clean. We ate in the unit thanks to the extremely well-equipped kitchen. A wonderful stay.

Amazing family vacation

We stayed at the condo with grandparents, a teenager and a child and all age groups found the place fantastic! The access to the beach was the highlight of our stay, but also the easy access to the rest of the island activities. The amenities in the condo itself and the property as well were well above average. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and everything else we needed was easy to get. As we left we decided to be back again as soon as we can!! We highly recommend staying at this property Thanks for your hospitality. This is definitely one of our favorite vacation ever.
