Really nice vaycay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This a nice quiet resort on the south end of Sanibel. The condo is very spacious and in good shape. It’s a short walk to a nice beach where chairs and umbrellas are available. The staff is friendly and helpful. My only criticism would be the lack of washer/drier in the apt. There is a coin operated laundry room nearby but not convenient.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room was a nice room but not cleaned real well. The dirt on top of bed frames and around the unit were less than desirable for the price we paid. Then we were charged for amenities ( no maid service and we had to go get our own clean towels and pay to park there as well!! Golfing on the island was not desirable and the availability to get tee times was hindered by you not having any affiliation with courses. Very dark at night in parking lot and access to our building

However, a few things really have is wondering if we want to come back. My in-laws have been coming for years, so it’s disappointing to think we may choose a different rental next time. One major issue was the living room furniture in our unit. The sofas were so sprung that we could not enjoy spending time out there. The other concern was an employee who was so unbelievably rude that we were honestly blown away. We didn’t catch her name, but she had curly red hair and worked in the main office. We misunderstood the rules about retuning the pickle ball set and she publicly shamed us and talked to us as if we were idiots and made a mistake that was beyond what it actually was. We have little kids and lost track of time and returned them first thing in the am. Her explanation was as if we had committed a crime. A simple explanation would have sufficed, but instead it seemed that she really wanted to make sure that we understood the mistake we made. Please know it was not Marie- she was absolutely lovely. Everyone else was also professional and friendly.

Beautiful Sanibel Vacation Spot!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sanibel Moorings, with its beautiful botanical gardens, provides a wonderful, peaceful place to stay on Sanibel Island. Ten members of our family (three generations) gathered there in two adjacent units, and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Both condominiums were sparkling clean and well-appointed. The kitchens provided all we needed for cooking and eating in, and the beds were very comfortable. The screened-in porches provided a lovely place to sit amidst the trees, with pretty views of the canal. We were so impressed by the friendliness and quick responsiveness of the management and office staff; when we reported a needed repair to a furniture leg upon our arrival, maintenance staff were there to fix it within an hour. The office staff cheerfully answered our questions when we stopped by and clearly cared about our satisfaction. We stayed in one of the buildings across the road from the beach and found that location to be excellent. The pool on that side was convenient, and the walk to beach was easy and pleasant, passing through lovely gardens. The beach was excellent, right in front of a sand bar that was easily accessible during low tide. Grounds employees brought out lounge chairs and umbrellas each morning. There is good shelling all along that area, and it’s a doable run or walk to the light house for those looking for exercise. All in all, everyone in our group enthusiastically recommends Sanibel Moorings!

Sanibel Condo

An excellent condo. Office staff and maintenance staff were quick to reply and efficient. The property was updated and the VRBO description matched wha we enjoyed. Will definitely recommend to others and will return.

Great vacation!

The condo was very nice and comfortable! It was nice to have pool close for the kids and the beach wasn’t a long walk. We also were able to drop the paddle board in the inlet as well as fish. We would definitely rent again if we return to sanibel!

Beautiful place

This was my first VRBO rental and it was just perfect. The condo was clean and well appointed and exactly as promised from the photos and description. Our view of the canal was lovely and so peaceful. Easy walk to the beach, and the management office and employees were so nice to work with. Great property. If I visit again, this will be where I'll stay.
