Great stay

Great location for a fishing trip. The driveway is great for parking a trailer and we loved the backyard and the dock was great to tie up the boat

Lovely Home not too far from the beach

We had an awesome time staying here, after a long drive we were able to unwind and rest. Made a trip to the beach within a reasonable amount of time taking the ferry (longest part will be waiting in line). After a beach day we were able to rest and enjoy the beautiful water at the docks on the property. If we ever make our way back here we would gladly stay here again! The host was awesome and answered all of our questions. 10/10 would recommend staying here!

July Family Time

Enjoy the stay nice cool house plenty of room good beds. Grandson caught 3 fish from the rear deck just had a great family time. Had a very well stock kitchen supplys to cook with. Well worth the stay.

Clean and Confortable - As Described!

The house is situated right on the harbor community. Not too stuffy. All the right touches inside. Very Clean and comfortable inside. Great desk and seating area outside. We stay for the weekend and enjoyed! Check out the Paradise Key restaurant close by for some great seafood!

As advertised

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. Patio on the water was a great place to drink you morning coffee. The house was clean and beds were acceptable. The 3 bathes were a plus. The one draw back ,the bedrooms and baths had multiple step downs that could be a tripping hazard. With that said we would stay there again.

Just what we needed!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. It was nice to not have to worry about mosquitoes! We honestly never had to spray repellent and never swapped one mosquito! Being on the canal we were very surprised! We had everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back to this home!

Wonderful place to relax

Loved the entire house. All extras were considered in case you forgot something small. Would definitely rent again. Loved the private dock area. A little disappointed there were no kayak or canoes as described in the amenities. We brought life jackets to enjoy the kayaks. But overall loved our stay in the beautiful home and total experience was wonderful.

Perfect place

We rented this amazing home for a fishing tournament and we invited some of my husbands customers. There were 3 couples that didn't know each other very well so we wanted separate rooms for each couple. Marie at Y Knot Getaway was awesome and very easy to work with. She helped us select the perfect place. The home was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The back patio was our favorite and ideal for docking our boat for the weekend. Great place and we highly recommend.

Awesome for adults

Three of us met for a fishing vacation. The house is beautiful with three bedrooms and baths. All three bedrooms were decked out with a queen or king bed. No bunk beds which made it great for us because we each had a room with comfortable beds. Kitchen and layout are terrific and the back deck and access to the canal were very nice. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook. Half way between Crab-in and Paradise restaurants - both excellent and cook your fish for you. Highly recommend

Family Vacation

We rented the house for the week of Thanksgiving for ourselves and various family members. House was very clean and well stocked. All beds were very comfortable. We loved being able to have our boat ready to go at all times and even managed to catch some fish. The house is great for all adults or families. The only negative would be the different levels of flooring, not too good for someone with physical handicaps. All in all we loved the house and will definitely look into renting again should the need arise

Nice House

We went as 2 adult couples and overall loved the house. There were some things we wished it had had but we didn’t read description close enough such as lights to fish at night. I will say the house is not a good fit for elderly or those w tiny toddlers learning to walk bc there are so many levels to the house. In the mast bathroom your feet dangle from the toilet. My boyfriend is 5’11” and when sitting his feet didn’t touch the floor. Overall the house was clean and we loved the neighbor. The description said there were restaurants and bars within walking distance of the house but the ones we saw we would have never attempted to walk to bc you have to cross a very busy highway. Overall we would stay here again.

Was as expected.

Place was fine. Location was fine. Rockport is ok, a little too backwoods for a whole week. But all of that was not the issue of the owner of the place. The one issue I have is that it is billed as a great location to fish but one week of fishing pretty hard yielded 5 fish one keeper. Don’t rent this place cause you think the fishing in the channel is great cause it is not.

The best part of having your own dock at Casa Ahoy is you can jump into your kayaks or boat and go out to the bay. Sometimes you have to move around to get that perfect catch.

Boys fishing trip

Nice place, a few oddly placed steps in the house. Needs a little attention with the extermination of the yellow jackets. My boy who is five got stung twice by the handrail going down to the dock. I killed those and then found another large nest on the handrail on the dock. Killed those as well. Other than that it was a nice stay.

Only feedback is I guess people should know some of it is not very accessible to a disabled or elderly person. The one bathroom in the main master is crazy with the steps and the mats to and in the shower slip. The toilet is the funniest set up i've seen. And, there are several steps throughout the house. No problem for us, but might be for others. Would change the mats in that bathroom so nobody slips. Overall, amazing experience. Thank you! Didn't have much because everything was organized so well. But, what I did have was very good.
