Gulfside Villa is a rare, 8-unit low-rise condominium located directly on the sparkling Gulf of Mexico with a private patio overlooking Perdido Key's beautiful blue waters and sugar white beaches. This beachfront bungalow is a short walk up to the top floor where the west end location has the most amazing views! We're not sure which you'll love more--the balcony views or the incredible modern renovations. The owners thoughtfully decorated for your comfort and enjoyment. This condo is truly a little slice of beach paradise.

This was a clean and nice condo. The stairs were a challenge for one person in the party who is 81, but we were aware of the steps before we booked. Bathrooms are small but very clean and well stocked with linens. We loved the beach in front of the property. Not crowded. Rented chairs and umbrellas from the vendor next to the property. We also loved being able to use the indoor parking. It was very hot and humid during our stay so the covered parking was wonderful to keep the car cool. Location is wonderful and very convenient to restaurants, groceries and other places of interest. Close to Pensacola so we took advantage of seeing the Blue Angels practice at the base. Check in/check out was very easy. We blew a circuit breaker using the toaster, coffee pot and microwave at the same time. Maintenance came immediately to reset the breaker (we couldn’t find the Box…hidden behind a picture). Quiet. Serene stay at the beach.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The views of the ocean were spectacular off the balcony. The sound of the waves crashing all day and night was a thing of pure relaxation. The beaches with pure white sand were incredibly stunning. We loved the quietness that this condo had to offer and appreciated the less-crowded beaches.

The inside of the condo is beautiful and was extremely clean. It is in a great location also. The only issue we had was that to get to the beach access from the condo you have to go down several flights of stairs from your balcony with all your beach equipment which meant you had to then go back up several flights of stairs. This is after going up the first several flights of stairs from the parking lot to the condo. We found it easier to just go next door through the public beach access to get down to the beach. Anyone older would have had a very difficult time. I would just recommend that this be put in the listing. Otherwise it was great.

The location of this property is perfect.. the beach is beautiful and the condo is well maintained. The only thing I would warn someone about is all of the stairs. If you have limited mobility this would not work. The check in and out is very easy. We had a few maintenance issues but he arrived within 30 minutes and took care of everything.

Being on the beach was amazing! The rental company was excellent. They communicated very well. Checkin/check out was a breeze. We LOVE the mattresses!!! I NEED to know what mattress that is cause I would like one for my own house!!!! I guess I didn’t realize being on the second floor meant I had 3 flights of stairs to go up just to get to our condo. And then to get to the beach we had 2 flights of stairs to go down. Which means you have to carry all of your beach stuff (tent, chairs, coolers, etc) along with your luggage up to the condo from the car and then take the beach stuff out back down the 2 flights of stairs. My second complaint would be the upstairs shower didn’t get hot. I know there was hot water because the sink next to got hot. Other than those 2 things it was great! The beach view was wonderful!!! Getting to go straight down to the beach to crab hunt with my kid was priceless!

perdido realty company gave away our booking, then placed us in a local condo, with no refunds or follow up. Since it wasnt approved thru vrbo, even tho this is the management company used by vrbo, nothing is covered

The property is outdated and in need of maintenance. The couch was extremely dirty upon arrival, and we had to purchase a mattress topper for the pull-out couch to make it usable (the management company did reimburse us for this expense).Additionally, the water in the small upstairs shower never got hot, which made it difficult to use. We also encountered a pest issue and killed two very large cockroaches during our stay.Overall, the property did not meet our expectations based on the listing and could benefit from updates, improved cleaning, and better maintenance.It does have a great biew tho.

Location location location!

This was the perfect spot! Clean, comfortable and steps away from the beach. We would definitely stay here again. Just know there are a lot of steps to go down to the beach but we loved the proximity and being in an 8 unit building.

Perfect place for our family. The upstairs suite was nice for a couple. The downstairs bathroom was a bit cramped, but all worked well and everything was really clean. We loved the quick access to the beach. This unit was exactly as advertised and the check in process was so easy since the realty office was just across the street. We had no issues and would book this unit again. We had family book the neighboring unit and that worked well for us. Made for a great family beach vacation.

Beautiful Condo

Overall I was very impressed with the property! However keep in mind the stairs, especially if you have older family/friends. That’s really the only thing I wish were different. Very clean and check in was super easy.

Perfection!

The complex is small, which is what I was looking for. The condo was very clean, beautifully decorated, and the beds and sheets and pillows were very comfy. The stairs to the condo where a little hard on my older parents, but they managed. I would definitely book here again.

Hidden gem

This small little condo building could be easily overlooked with the taller buildings around, but let me tell you, this place is a hidden gem! We had my 4 month old with us, so it was so nice to be able to use our own beach equipment without worrying about the restrictions bigger condos have. My 5 yr old loved it as well! Everything was so nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend!

Perdido Key Paradise

The condo was clean and quiet with a fantastic view of the beach. The description of the property was accurate. The rental agency is directly across the street from the condo, which was convenient. The only things renters need to be made aware of is the check-in time is dependent on when the unit is cleaned so it could be anytime between 4:00 and 5:30 PM. That was not clear to me when I booked. Also, there is not much privacy in the bathrooms due to the louvered doors. Other than that, this was a great place to stay!

It was just OK. What wasn't included in the description was the fact that there were 3 flights of stairs to get into the unit, and a 4th flight to the master bedroom. My ex-wife and I are elderly and the stairs were a huge issue. In fact, my legs became weak and I fell, resulting in a few bleeding wounds.. Also there were no places in the unit to put suitcases other than the closet. One additional minus is the fact that there were no appliances are otherwise with USB ports. We would NEVER stay there again.

Overall, my stay here didn’t quite meet expectations. While there were some positive aspects, there were also several areas that left much to be desired.Pros:- Convenient location- Not a high-rise, offering a more relaxed atmosphere- The unit was clean upon arrival- Smooth check-in and check-out process- Recently updated unit with modern amenities- Enjoyable TVs and reliable Wi-Fi- Comfort of the beds was mixed—some found them comfortable, while others did not.Cons:- The public beach can get crowded, leaving limited space to enjoy.- The bathrooms are extremely small, and the lack of doors created a disturbance during early morning hours, especially with the lights waking others up when getting ready for an early fishing charter.- Lack of privacy throughout the unit.- No direct beach access except through the unit itself, making it inconvenient to transport beach gear like chairs, tents, and other items.- The property’s upkeep was disappointing. Stairwells were often dirty and full of sand, which seemed neglected compared to other properties I’ve stayed at. Be prepared to track sand inside.
