Great location steps from Monterey Bay and beach, and bike and walking trail. Easy walk to Fishermanâs Wharf, Customs House Plaza, trolley to Aquarium. Close to restaurants, shopping. Complex is well maintained, gated, parking usually in front of unit. Unfortunately the entire time we were there, maintenance, painting and repairs were being done on our balcony and decks. 6 days a week from 8:30-5:30. Couldnât use deck, BBQ or balconies. Couldnât open drapes as workman right outside. If weâd been told of this in advance, we may have chosen another location. Worked with owner on appliance and plumbing issues during visit. Jim was very responsive and usually was able to arrange repairs within 24 hours. Interior of home was comfortable and well appointed but the 3.5 flights of stairs could be a drawback to some. Home needs a deep cleaning and some upgrading of bathrooms. Also, it would help to have brief instructions on using washer, oven, opening of sliding doors and other equipment. Bottom line, the location is awesome, the condo could be 5 star with some cleaning, maintenance and appliance upgrades and hopefully future visitors will be advised of any scheduled maintenance on the property. Jim was made aware of these issues prior to our departure.
