The home sleeps groups comfortably with a primary suite featuring a serene en-suite bath, a flexible office/third bedroom with a Murphy bed, and an additional guest suite with its own entrance, bathroom, and mini-kitchen.

Step outside to the expansive wraparound deck with a brand-new private hot tub and gas grill, perfect for soaking in the scenery year-round. Surrounded by nearly two acres of forest with trails right out the back door, this home blends peaceful privacy with unbeatable convenience — just minutes to Kings Beach's sandy shores, local restaurants, and boutique shopping. It's a quick drive to Northstar for skiing and outdoor adventure, making this property an ideal North Lake Tahoe vacation rental for all seasons.

-PLEASE BE ADVISED: this property has a driveway and access road that is steep. Anyone renting this property during the snow season (Nov 1-May 15), should bring a 4-wheel/AWD drive vehicle with mud & snow tires and always carry chains. If icy, you will need them regardless of your vehicle/tire type.

• 3rd bedroom is a converted office and has a glass door and a converted cabinet as a closet.
• Although 80% of our properties are pet-friendly - this is NOT a pet-friendly property. Please be respectful of this. We do not consider service animals pets. If you bring a dog, you will be subject to a fine and are in breach of contract which could result in being asked to leave the property.
• Important, this property does not have air conditioning. Air conditioners are extremely unusual in North Lake Tahoe
• Check-out is at 10 am.
*Tahoe is a beautiful and fun place to visit, but occasionally this area can be affected by extreme weather events. While we never want things like icy roads, road closures, or smoke from wildfires to negatively impact our guests, it can happen. We ask travelers to plan their vacation appropriately for the rural mountain climate and encourage guests to research all travel insurance options, as Tahoe Moon Properties cannot provide refunds for things outside of our control.

IMPORTANT:
On March 11th, 2022, the county of Placer implemented a new Short Term Rental Ordinance which is very important for guests to abide by. Fines range from $1,500- 5,000 and can be issued to guests who are not in compliance. A full list of rules is attached as a photo in this listing. Some Highlights include:
•Quiet hours are from 9 pm to 8 am. No noise shall be heard across property lines. No outdoor speakers or amplified sound are to be used at any time.
•Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside of a property and all pet waste needs to be picked up.
•Parking is limited to the following number of spaces: 4


POLICIES & DISCLOSURES
1. 2021 Update: Due to Extreme Fire Danger – The use of ANY outdoor firepit or fireplace is strictly prohibited at any of our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe from wildfires.
2. As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9 pm - 8 am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
3. By local laws we have to charge a 12% occupancy tax (10% TOT tax + 2% TBID tax) with every booking. TBID is placed on lodging, retail, restaurant, and recreation businesses in North Lake Tahoe to raise money for visitor services, business support and advocacy, economic development, tourism mitigation, and transportation services.

What a wonderful home! The view is just breathtaking from sun up to sun down. The home is welcoming and gorgeous. Our family of 4 had a great stay. We had everything we needed to cook at home- pans, supplies and even spices. The downstairs room off the garage is perfect for an older teen or couple. The hot tub was a perfect place to relax and unwind with a view of the lake and the forrest. We were very close to grocery stores and restaurants, and an easy drive to Diamond Peak and Mount Rose for skiing. We would definitely stay here again!

This house was amazing!!! The views were spectacular, the location was close to everything, and for our family of 4 adults and two kids the house fit us comfortably. When we arrived my kids instantly started playing with all the toys the house provided. Hot tub was very clean, all beds were super comfortable. We hope to stay here again in the future. We loved it so much.

We loved the house and felt very at home. Absolutely beautiful trails. Great location. But lack of AC during the heat we were in was really hot in the house

Overall a great Tahoe Adventure

The view was amazing, location was fantastic. The house is a little jenky. It worked for our family but would not work for multiple adult couples. The master bedroom is an open loft. You can hear everything from everywhere. The other larger bedroom is basically in the garage, or off of the garage space. The 3rd bedroom is an office with a trundle bed on the main living floor and is also prone to hearing every single thing happening in the living room and kitchen. The hot tub and deck areas were incredible and you can see the lake. We were able to see the Tahoe City fireworks from afar and didn’t have to drive. I would give the spot a 7 out of 10. It was nice but I don’t think we would stay there again. We booked at the last minute so I understand availability. This house would be perfect for 2 adults and teen age kids.

Perfect vacation home

This is the perfect vacation house! We stayed at the Flying Squirrel for our August vacation. After countless hours trying to decide between North and South Lake Tahoe, we chose this house with a North Tahoe, Kings Beach location. We were so happy with our choice! The Kings Beach location was perfect. We were within a quick drive to beaches, town, and shopping and we appreciated the tranquilness of the location. Every morning, we had coffee on the balcony with breathtaking magazine worthy views of the lake! The kitchen was fully stocked! We cooked dinner every night, baked cookies, and made a birthday cake and had all the tools needed! Then, we enjoyed family dinners in the dining room surrounded by beautiful views of the lake and mountains. Most evenings, we hiked on the mountain trails behind the house. We were minutes to Kings Beach and Speedboat beach. Beautiful gems of North Lake Tahoe. We visited Emerald Bay (started at the top with a hike down to Vikingsholm), Sand Harbor Beach (rented kayaks that we paddled to Bonsai rock), took a private boat charter with Moose from North Tahoe Wakesurf and Charter (highly recommend), Incline Village, South Lake Tahoe and Heavenly Gondola ride to the peak, and Zephyr Cove. The layout of the house worked perfectly for us (4 adults and 2 kids aged 5 & 8). Two adults stayed in the loft bedroom with a bathroom. There is also an office with a Murphy bed on the main level. The other 2 adults and 2 kids stayed in the lower level, which had a room with 2 beds for the kids and another bedroom with a bathroom for the other 2 adults. The layout worked perfectly for us. The house was stocked with a lot of kitchen and bathroom essentials so I would suggest to check first what's all there and then grab anything else you need from the nearby grocery store. Tahoe Moon Properties was so nice to work with and quickly answered any questions we had! We all highly recommend this vacation home and would love to return someday! We created so many memories here that will last a lifetime!

Beautiful house in a wonderful location

This house was perfect for an extended getaway with friends/family. There was ample room and the location was wonderful! Gorgeous views of Lake Tahoe as well as the mountains from the property and an easy walk into town or drive to Incline Village. Plenty of hang out space for games and big meals together. My wife enjoyed the Peloton and friends like the ping pong table and hot tub. Ended up spending a lot of time at the house since the views were so nice but managed to go down to the beach a few times and even walked to/from the Casino in Nevada for gambling and dinner. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

Beautiful view

Super beautiful home with gorgeous views. The main house has one bedroom plus convertible office. The downstairs bedrooms are completely separate through the garage. We enjoyed the amenities, hot tub, ping pong table, etc. No recycling bags provided and the shower didn’t work in the downstairs, but communications with the property management was immediate. Already recommended to friends.

AWESOME AND AMAZING

The house was exactly what was represented and could not have been nicer. Very well appointed kitchen, allowed us to cook our family meals together each evening effortlessly. We were traveling as a family of parents of young adults and the layout of the house was perfect. A lot of Amenities there: hot tub, ping pong table, peloton bike, along with board games and great TV allowed us to spend excellent family time together.

Wonderful Cabin!

Secluded up the hill from Kings Beach, with beautiful views from every window. The property was very clean, beyond any other vacation rental we have stayed at in the past. The house was stocked with games, adorably toys and cozy blankets. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we would have needed. The bedding and beds were comfortable as well. The lower level where two of the rooms are, get a little chilly in the winter, but there are extra space heaters throughout if need be. It is located a short drive to Northstar as well as Diamond Peak, and a wonderful place to return to after a busy day on the slopes. The Peloton and ping pong table in the garage were nice touches as well. We had such a great time, we have talked about returning to this cabin on a yearly basis.

I love this place it’s great and comfy it has everything you need to be comfortable and cozy it’s definitely worth it and we really enjoyed our vacations at this place, the view is beautiful we couldn’t Have asked for more definitely recommend It , the reason I give it 4 stars is because the only thing we didn’t like is that the handle from the shower didn’t work Well and we all had to use one restroom we called them to let them know about the problem so it could be fixed but they never sent the plumber other than that it was great !
