3 adults shared the condo when visiting local family at Thanksgiving. We found it spotlessly clean and spacious - the bedrooms and closets are huge! Also great having the garage. Primary bedroom was quiet. Wish we could have used the rooftop deck but it was too cold...we may have to come back in warm weather! The host, Reese, was so nice, friendly and very responsive at every step of the trip. My son reported street noise in the secondary bedroom, so light sleepers may want earplugs. I'd love to see more art on the walls and richer color in the decor, for a cozier feeling...it felt a little stark. Maybe a settee at the end of each bed :) We wished for a king bed, but wondered if the tight corners on 2nd floor would prevent moving it in. Just improvement thoughts, here. We'd absolutely stay here again! Thanks, Reese!

We absolutely had a wonderful time in this beautiful condo. The location was perfect. We were within walking distance to several breweries, downtown was just a quick drive away, but our favorite place was on the rooftop patio. The host was super thoughtful and had amenities such as soap, shampoo, and conditioner, and coffee. This was a perfect stay and if we come back do Des Moines we would certainly stay in this perfect property!

Perfect spot for us to host friends in town for collegiate volleyball. We enjoyed the property, it was clean and perfect for our stay.

Lots of space in smaller footprint

We had a short weekend trip to Des Moines. We typically get a place in the burbs, but wanted something downtown this time. This was a good choice and will likely do it again. Clean, quite considering on Grand Ave., nice appliances, etc. Very nice to have private garage. Beds were a hair firm for me, but not bad. Not an issue for our group, but for those less mobile folks there are lots of stairs. My only knock is that in Iowa there are many more cooler nights than warm and it would be a huge benefit to add a small fire/heat insert to the rooftop patio. This is a key feature of the place for us, but a little to cool for everyone to sit out there and enjoy it. Overall, really good option and enjoyed it!

This property has so much space and such a great layout. The communication was great. It has a 2 car garage that fit my ram 1500 and grand Cherokee. Very clean and well kept! Can’t wait to come back!

Great spot for a Des Moines getaway

This 2BR townhome was a great spot for our annual sisters weekend. Plenty of space for the three of us and a terrific rooftop deck. The garage was a real plus. We walked everywhere — the downtown farmers market, the sculpture garden, the east village, the river walk, great restaurants, and so much more. We capped off our stay by cheering on two friends who were in the Des Moines marathon. The course ran right in front of our unit. What a treat!

Nothing short of wonderful

This was the perfect place for my sister and me. Her daughter/my niece lives in Des Moines and we visit regularly. This will be our “go to” place from now on. It was in just the right area for all we planned to do and is so roomy, comfortable and clean.
