This property is located in the heart of downtown Des Moines with quick access to almost anywhere downtown.
Within a 5-7 minute walk: > Court Ave District > Western Gateway Park & Sculpture Park > Civic Center > Wells Fargo Arena > East Village > Wooly`s > Science Center > Full scale grocery stores > Countless restaurants, bars and stores!
Parking is not included but affordable parking garages are directly south and west of the complex right across the street! Metered parking is also available around the unit.
Guests will enter into the main lobby and take a short elevated ride up to the cozy condo. Inside the unit features a full kitchen, dining area and breakfast bar, dedicated workspace, living room with smart TV, 2 bedrooms both with smart TV`s while also having access to shared spaces such as a community area with games, 24/7 fitness facility and rooftop lounge with dog park/relief area.

*note* - Master bedroom is open lofted space and does not have a door but it is on the second level for privacy
This is a downtown space and apartment complex and while it`s not particularly noisy you may hear other tenants or cars outside occasionally.
This unit is part of a beautifully restored historic building, where all 100+ units feature the original sealed concrete floors. These floors naturally show imperfections, variations, and markings from the building’s history, which are part of the intentional “industrial loft” style of the complex. This design choice gives each space its own distinctive and authentic character.
**Pet Policy** Dogs are welcome, but they must be included in your reservation at the time of booking. To add a pet, put the number of pets in the search option next to where you select the number of guests. The pet fee will be automatically applied to your reservation when included this way. Please note, if an unregistered or unpaid pet is brought to the property, the fee will be doubled.
Guests will access the condo using a lockbox located outside of the complex that stores a set of keys and fobs. Please keep track of the keys at all times. Lost keys or fobs will results in a fee of up to $200.
SECURITY: The front door utilize a ring doorbell that records audio and video 24/7 for guests safety and security.
NOISE MONITORING: In consideration of our community of neighbors in this expansive complex, we`ve implemented a Minut Sound Monitoring device within the unit. Rest assured, this device does not record any audio; instead, it monitors decibel levels. As responsible hosts, our commitment to being good neighbors is reinforced by using this technology, which provides us and our guests with alerts in case sound levels exceed the appropriate threshold. It`s our way of ensuring a peaceful and enjoyable environment for everyone. If sound warnings are ignored, fees and loss of reservation without a refund are possible.
** ADDITIONAL FEES ** $75 pet fee (Taxes and platform fees are added automatically on top of our pet fee) 1. Smoking and drug use are not allowed inside the unit or in the hallways of the building. This includes vapes, weed, or other illegal substances. There is a $1000 fine if discovered.
2. Parties are not allowed in this property, including loud music. There is a fee of $1000 if a party is discovered or if a neighbor complains about excessive noise. Quiet Hours: 10pm - 8am.
3. There is a $50 fee per guest per night for undeclared guests.
4. Pets must be disclosed and approved in advance. Unregistered pets are subject to a double priced pet fee.
5. If an excessive mess is discovered after your stay, you will be charged accordingly on top of the standard cleaning fee.
6. A lost, missing, or damaged key, fob, or parking permit has a replacement cost of $75 each.
7. Check-Out Policy - Standard check-out time is 10:00 AM. Late check-out is not guaranteed and may only be available if there are no same-day bookings or scheduling conflicts with our cleaning team. If you`d like to request a late check-out, please inquire the day before departure. Requests made earlier will not receive a confirmed answer until that time. A fee may apply for a late check-out.
8. Check-In Policy - Standard check-in time is 4:00 PM. Early check-in is not guaranteed and depends on same-day turnover and cleaning schedules. If you`d like to request early check-in, please reach out on the day of arrival. We are unable to confirm early check-in prior to that day. A fee may apply for early check-in.
9. Everything in the home is inventoried. We will charge for any missing or damaged items.
10. Any cleaning issues must be reported within a reasonable time of check-in so that we can help resolve any issues you may have.
11. We do not allow packages/mail to be sent to the address you’re staying at. You may deliver to a local FedEx/UPS. We cannot help you to retrieve delivered mail.
12. You are booking with a valid government-issued ID and are not engaging in fraud or identity theft.
13. There is 1 security camera pointing at the door entrance. Blocking or disconnecting this device will lead to immediate termination of your stay with no refund.
14. Firearms and weapons are not allowed inside the unit or in the hallways of the building. Bringing a firearm onto the property will result in a $500 fee and may lead to immediate cancellation of the reservation without refund.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was just as described/pictured in the ad. Any time I reached out to the host, he responded almost immediately. And the space was vast. My daughter took over the upstairs bathroom to perform her dance routines and had more than ample space to do so. 10/10

The host was very accommodating and kind when we needed to make an adjustment. The loft was pretty, but not very clean the stove top was filthy and the floors were not clean. To the point of white socks being brown at the end of the night. The living room remote had no batteries and when we went to shower the towels were damp. There were also no kitchen wash clothes and only 2 bathroom washclothes. Notenough for everyone to shower.

Thank you for the feedback. This review was disappointing to receive because we went out of our way to make an exception for Jamie and her family, and none of the concerns mentioned were brought to our attention during the stay. The only message we received was a question about what to do with the sheets at checkout.
We keep a fully stocked cleaner closet with fresh towels, washcloths, batteries, and other supplies that we happily give guests access to if needed. Our time-stamped post-cleaning photos also show a clean stove and six washcloths placed out: two in the smaller bathroom and four in the larger one. It’s possible they were overlooked.
While our cleaners do an excellent job, we understand that people can occasionally miss something. In those cases, we’re always happy to deliver more items, provide extra cleaning or address anything needed right away. We can only do that if we’re made aware of an issue.
Because we were never contacted about any concerns and had no opportunity to resolve them, a two-star review feels surprisingly harsh. We truly wish we’d had the chance to help during the stay.
