Paix et tranquillité aux portes du parc national de North Cascades - à moins de deux heures de Seattle! Spacieuse construction en bois au plafond cathédrale dans un paradis rural.

Pêche de classe mondiale (ou tout simplement regarder le saumon courir!) au confluent des rivières Skagit et Cascade et des randonnées de premier ordre dans les Cascades du Nord, près de nombreux points de départ, dont le spectaculaire Cascade Pass et le Hidden Lake / Lookout.

Le chalet accueille confortablement deux à six adultes dans deux grandes chambres (suite parentale et loft) plus un canapé-lit dans la grande salle. Un coin lit superposé supplémentaire pour deux personnes pesant chacune moins de 150 livres (les enfants, supposément) porte le total à huit.

Cuisine complète et buanderie en option, à distance de marche de Marblemount pour les repas et le shopping.

Les tarifs week-end ne s'appliquent pas aux séjours de cinq jours ou plus.

The house is well equipped, beautiful and very comfortable. The owner is responsive and communicative. Beds are comfy. The only thing that would have improved our stay is if the second bathroom had a standup shower. It is close to the trails for the National Park and even comes with bear spray, which we didn’t need or use.

Perfect North Cascades Vacation

We enjoyed five days of awesome hiking at the Rainbow House. Every possible need was met by our host, including many rainy day activities inside the cabin, just in case….Host went above and beyond by immediately responding when we accidentally entered the incorrect entry code. Wi-Fi was excellent. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and coffee/tea. Bed was super comfortable. We’re already planning a return to the fantastic Rainbow House.

We stayed at the Rainbow House for 4 nights while we were hiking in the North Cascades and the house fit our needs perfectly. The setting is beautiful - even prettier than in the pictures. The house is also very well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed for the nights we stayed in to cook, there were plenty of games to occupy us when it rained, and we also appreciated the stocked coffee and shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the shower. Most importantly, the house was very clean and felt like home. We would absolutely stay here again the next time we come back to the area.

Perfect and exactly what we were looking for! The close location to the Marblemount entrance of North Cascades N.P. was very convenient. The property and surrounding area is beautiful and was just as described in the post. It was very clean and well appointed. There was so much space for our family of four to spread out and we absolutely loved the porches for morning coffee and afternoon (post hiking) drinks. There were a few grocery stores in Concrete about 20 minutes away, but we bought food and supplies in Mt. Vernon on our way to the property. Overall, we really loved our stay and would book it again in a heartbeat.

Located close to everything, but far enough to feel like you are in your own private mountain get-away. Wonderfully kept home with everything needed and an incredibly responsive owner. Views of the mountains, and proximity to the river, North Cascades National Park and town were perfect.

Week in North Cascades

This cabin was the perfect spot to enjoy the North Cascades area from. Cabin was very well stocked with everything you would need to cook with, beds were comfortable and the downstairs shower was amazing. We were even lucky enough to get an amazing view of the Northern lights several nights.

We're a professional couple from Seattle, now retired after having founded and operated a national importing company for nearly 40 years. We enjoy travel and receiving our guests as we like to be received.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Marblemount and the North Cascades are close enough to our home in Seattle to provide overnight escapes in addition to longer wilderness experiences. Those escapes kept us sane during our business careers. And when we weren't in Marblemount, all we had to to do was close our eyes and imagine ourselves being there. We called that 'A Marblemount Moment.'

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

You will see a sign when entering Marblemount that says 'Last Services in 74 miles.' We're at the entrance to North Cascades National Park and the property is in a cleared field across from the Skagit River with 360º views of the surrounding mountains. It is idyllic, with restaurants and services close at hand.
