The cabin was exceptionally nice! Very clean, inviting and relaxing! The location right on the river was definitely an added bonus! Check-in was very smooth and Nancy was very responsive when I had questions. I had a very enjoyable stay and look forward to staying again in the future. 10 outta 5 star rating!

Beautiful property close to the trails we wished to visit in Northern Cascades NP. Very comfortable with stunning views of the Cascade River, even from the shower.

Beautiful property. Stayed for our visit to N. Cascades National Park. Easy to access with instructions from the host. The river is so beautiful, just note the river is quite inaccessible and very fast moving, but so peaceful to fall asleep to at night. Quite spacious cabin with everything we needed.

Peaceful vacation getaway

Your cabin by the river was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I can honestly say we had the best night sleep ever while listening to the river outside. We made sure to watch our power usage, but it was quite nice for me and my family to live a simple and peaceful life for a few days. The location to the park was great and we would definitely stay here again.

North Cascades visit

The property is in a great location to get to the national park and just as advertised. The kitchen is fully stocked and the bathroom is recently renovated. One thing you need to be aware is the 2nd bedroom is not private as it is open to the family room. We didn't mind but others might. The river right outside the bedrooms/deck is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay.

Cozy off grid place

This little house was beyond our expectations. The Kitchen had everything you would need. I enjoyed the puzzles games and movies in the family room. Sitting on the back deck and watching the cascade river flow by was amazing! We even saw two people kayak down the river. It was easy to contact the owners. We enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic home near North Cascades National Park

This property has an incredible location, just above the Cascade River (which you can see and hear from the bedrooms). It's about a 10-minute drive to the restaurants in Marblemount and 30 to the National Park visitor center in Newhalem. The cabin is clean, elegant, and well equipped. The check-in procedure had several steps, but the hosts communicated this clearly (with pictures!) and everything went smoothly.This place is definitely off grid; when we stayed, we needed to boil water, and we were advised that internet and power are sometimes unreliable. That said, there was plenty of equipment in the kitchen for boiling and storing water, and we didn't have any issues with the internet or power during our stay! Note that one of the bedrooms has a door that closes, but the other one is separated from the open-plan living area only by a step and a 3-foot wall.Kids will love this cabin (ours did!), but be cautious whenever any young children are outdoors, because it is so close to a fast-moving river.

Nancy was a wonderful host. She provided all of the pertinent details necessary to make our check in and stay smooth. We loved that we could get the basics in town (gas, ice, etc...) and the drive to the park entrance was close by.
