Amazing visit to Miami area. Very trendy and European vibe. Nice accommodation for a studio. Amazing views. Phenomenal marina area, great restaurants and everything you can desire for a vacation.

Great location

This property has a beautiful view, great location and plenty of amenities. The kitchenette had all you would need and the bed was very comfortable. The free parking is a huge plus. The hotel is walking distance to so many restaurants, shops and amazing parks. Definitely would stay here again. Owners are very responsive.

Beautiful View

Location, location, location. This had the best walkability. Easy stroll to the water, walk around Coconut Grove DT area. Check in was a breeze. The bed was comfortable and the room was perfect for my husband and I. The only complaint was the bathroom shower. Water got everywhere but not a problem as we just laid towels down.

Great location, nice view, but could use a spruce up

Enjoyed our stay. Owner was very helpful and even arranged for an early check-in as we were arriving for a wedding that evening. Had everything we needed, except coffee. With a bit of TLC to update a few things, it would be a 5 star. Also, might be a Covid thing, but the reastaurant is only open for breakfast, mainly for hotel guests, serving a continental breakfast. There are plenty of great restaurant options within walking distance though.

Would have given my stay a higher rating except for a couple of things. First, the staff at the apartment hotel was top notch. Especially Leon at the pool! Having the restaurant on site was great... food and drinks great. The room was fine but could use a little updating...carpet very worn and stained. Coffee maker did not work and although the contact person did address the issue, it took three days. With a little updating this could have been a five star stay.

Absolutely The BEST!!!!!

I have stayed in hotels and private studio rooms for the past year in Coconut Grove and Coral Gables - this is the BEST upscale room with truly a million dollar view. It has an entire glass wall, with a door to its balcony overlooking the Bay and Coconut Grove Sailing Club. You can enjoy sitting in the ocean breezes from the private balcony and are treated to beautiful views of the water and of the skies! The Sonesta is immaculately clean with full service accommodations and friendly, professional staff. It is close to the water, a park, and many clothing and art stores, restaurants and historic sites... and to a great book store, library and lovely market. I stayed in this studio for two months and have sincerely enjoyed every minute. The owner provides first rate accommodations in this studio - including beautiful artwork, mirrors, top rate bedding, and thoughtful touches everywhere. With a perfect location, this is a calm, beautiful, safe and secure choice for the traveler. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

In my OPINION I would not recommend this location, the property as a hotel is nice but I wouldn’t recommend using the private unit!!! We are on vacation, when we go to a hotel we expect clean cloths towels and rags upon request. We requested it at least 2-3 times in a 6 day trip and received absolutely nothing. The alternative was to stop our vacation and wash the ones we have in a laundry facility!!! We are on vacation why would we do home house duties in a hotel, not motel a hotel!!! I’m livid about this… on top of the shower and floor has not much separation so the floor daily got wet and we had to use towels to dry the floor to prevent a slip and fall!!! I will never stay in a private property like this again!!! 1 star because the property was clean and 1 star because the view!!! Total 2 stars

Fantastic unit

Stayed 10 days at Marie's unit. It's a King bed suite within hotel Ayra. I was worried because of the hotel reviews that I looked up but this hotel and unit were great. Perfect location, parking included which was amazing. And the elevator goes right to the car garage so no need to go through the lobby each time you left. The view is legit amazing and everything as pictured. Marie was very responsive in anything I needed. Would recommend this unit for sure.

Beautiful view

The view did not disappoint. We enjoyed watching kickball from the balcony the first night. Then watched a concert the following night. Sheets and pillows were good for the pillow hog husband. Perfect for our honeymoon.

Beautiful View!

The location it’s self was beautiful and peaceful definitely worth walking around, many restaurants and shops nearby. The view was my absolute favorite part. You can lay in bed and see the ocean. The balcony was amazing with chairs and a foot rest. The pool was so relaxing with a jacuzzi. We didn’t get the try the restaurant or bar, wish it stayed open later. The only reason why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars was the bed. It was very uncomfortable for me and my husband. It felt old and lumpy. Also the pillows weren’t great, just wish there was a much firmer pillow. Besides the fact of not getting good sleep, the room itself was nice and clean. Although we did find a bug behind the kitchen wall but it got addressed quickly and we didn’t have any other issues with it. The check in process was super easy and the owner was very responsive and informative which was greatly appreciated. Overall I would go back to this location we definitely enjoyed our visit to Miami!

Heaven on Earth!

We absolutely loved our stay at this ocean view with balcony room! The place was very clean and came with everything you might need including stove, microwave, and refrigerator. The view is incredible! You are withing very close walking distance to several shops and restaurants as well as the waterfront. Marie was very quick in responding to any requests or questions we had! Would definitely stay here again and wish we could have stayed longer, thank you Marie!

Schönes Studio mit super Aussicht

Das Studio ist wie ein normales Hotelzimmer, allerdings mit kleiner Kochnische. Alles war sehr sauber, allerdings waren einige Möbel schon ziemlich abgewohnt. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Der Blick aus dem Bett und vom Balkon auf den Hafen ist super. Jeden Morgen ein toller Sonnenaufgang. Die Location ist super, viele Restaurants und Geschäfte sind fussläufig zu erreichen. Ein großes Plus ist der freie Parkplatz in der Hotelgarage. Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal hier und kommen wieder.
