Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and I would like to clarify a few items and acknowledge the areas we will improve. Regarding makeup removal, our house policy asks guests not to use white towels for makeup because they are frequently stained and need replacement. During your stay, you requested dark towels, but unfortunately we do not currently provide them. I suggested using paper towels as an alternative. Based on your feedback, we will reconsider better options for future guests. For the thermostat, the system was still set to “heat” mode during your stay. In Calgary, we had heavy snowfall only two weeks ago, including around 20 cm of snow, so we normally switch the system fully to cooling mode after the Victoria Day period. Guests are also welcome to message us or switch the thermostat to “cool” if needed. The comforters used in the home are standardized all-season comforters. I understand some guests may still find them too warm, and I appreciate the feedback. All duvet covers and bedding are professionally cleaned and changed between every guest stay, but we will review whether lighter bedding options should be added. Regarding the robotic vacuum, the unit does not have an automatic overnight cleaning function enabled. If it started during the night, it was most likely accidentally bumped or moved away from its charging dock, which can trigger it to begin cleaning automatically. Normally, pressing the stop button once will stop the unit. Each bed is prepared with one bath towel and one hand towel. With 6 bedrooms and 10 beds, the house is stocked with approximately 20 bath towels and 20 hand towels. The towels left inside the dryer were not intended for guest use. We do require outdoor shoes to be removed inside the house. Unfortunately, reusable indoor slippers have resulted in significant loss over time, so we have not continued providing them. However, I will reconsider the feasibility of offering disposable slippers in the future. Thank you as well for the constructive suggestions regarding the half bath towel rack. That is a good suggestion and will be added. The broken blind adjustment rod in the dining area, marks on the baseboards, and the floss found under the rug have already been reported to our cleaning company, and I will personally follow up on those items.
