Sunset Beach is beckoning you to Where the Sidewalk Ends! Located just 50 feet to public beach access, this cozy cottage has an open design and yet offers a comfortable feeling as soon as you walk through the door. Adorned with coastal design, this home has a beautiful great room, loft with wet bar, dining room table for 10, and very well stocked kitchen perfect for entertaining. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths and 3 separate decks. TVs in the 3 queen bedrooms, loft and great room. All TVs have Roku for streaming so that you can access your personal Amazon Prime and Netflix accounts. Worried about a rainy day while visiting? No need, there is a trove of games available for your indoor amusement, come rain or shine. Other amenities include Wi-Fi, air conditioning, ceiling fans, pack 'n play, highchair and booster seat. The large front porch is screened, perfect for enjoying morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail. There is a covered deck off the loft, and second sun deck accessible by both master suites. Other outdoor amenities include an enclosed outdoor shower, swing, charcoal grill and picnic table. The property is also equipped with a full-size washer and dryer. Come stay a while at Where the Sidewalk Ends and make memories that will entice you to return year after year! Linens and Towels are not provided.

Nice but very dated

My wife and I decieded to get away for a long easter weekend last min. We found this home on VRBO and based on proximity to the beach it fit our needs. Had to work through a secondary property manager yet it was easy. Check in was simple. The home though functionally fit our needs yet it is very dated inside. I understand that having items in a rental that are too nice can present issues but much of the furniture and TVs have a feeling that they are 15 + years old. The queen matress downstairs was so uncomfortable (makes pinging spring noises when you sit on it) that we relocated to a bedroom upstairs. Though there are TVs they are very, very small. Would be a good rental if there was updating. As is, I would not recommend it.

The location is fantastic and was the highlight of our stay. It played a big part in my overall rating, and we were happy with the setting for our beach vacation.That said, there is room for improvement in the cleaning between guests. While the house wasn’t exceptionally dirty, it wasn’t as clean as we would have hoped upon arrival. We noticed mold on the shower liners, gnats and fruit flies inside, and garbage cans that needed a thorough cleaning beyond simply emptying the bags. The garbage cans may have contributed to the insect issue.I appreciate that back-to-back rentals make turnaround times tight, but these are details that deserve attention between stays. A more thorough cleaning routine and a final check by the property management team would make a meaningful difference.The furnishings are fairly basic rather than modern or high-end, so it’s worth keeping that in mind when booking. Overall, we enjoyed the location, and with more attention to cleanliness and upkeep, this could be an even better place to stay.
