The Modern Moose was perfect! Clean, warm, and had plenty of hot water. It is in a great location and the hosts were very nice and easy to communicate with. The beds are very comfortable and the house had plenty of towels and all the utensils you would need to cook with. It is the best VRBO we’ve stayed in!

Instead of staying in a hotel downtown, we chose this lovely house in a quiet neighborhood. Beautifully appointed and well stocked, we couldn’t have asked for more. A home away from home for sure.

Charming and cozy!

This home had everything our family needed for a very comfortable 4-night stay in Anchorage. The home was clean and cozy, and the kitchen was well stocked. The owners helped us feel right at home! If we are fortunate to visit Alaska again, we would happily stay here.

Beautiful, exceptionally clean, wonderful hosts!

We loved this vrbo! Kathy & Ken were so friendly! The house is decorated so cute & cozy and was exceptionally clean! It has all the amenities such as dishwasher, garbage disposal, washer & dryer and to top it off, Kathy & Ken have the cupboards stocked w/a variety of items for your stay.

Calm and comfortable

Ken and Kathy provided a comfortable accommodation for our stay in Anchorage. We enjoyed the peaceful location. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable week! We appreciated the tourist information provided for nearby attractions. We’d be pleased to stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Visit after cryise

This was the cleanest and most comfortable property. The kitchen was well appointed. There are blackout shades in the bedrooms
.a necessity in the summer. The owner has beautiful Columbine flowers growing in the walk in, many varieties. I’d stay here every time we come back to Anchorage. And the only is super nice and quick to reply.

Our Best Stay in Anchorage

My family has used property rentals in Anchorage multiple times, and this stay has been the best one! The location is in a nice, safe neighborhood. The house itself was the perfect size for 4 adults and 1 child and was very comfortable and incredibly clean. The kitchen was well stocked, and I really appreciated the toddler silverware and place settings. The back yard is fully enclosed and has lots of seating space and room to run around. Overall, this is a really beautiful and charming property, and you can tell that the owners take good care of it. We absolutely would stay here again.

The modern moose

I absolutely loved everything about the property. My husband has just gotten surgery on his ankle so we were looking for a staycation and a single house with our kids and this was everything but short of amazing. Very clean, accessible, and the yard was huge. They had everything you could imagine playpen for kids cups, and plates for babies. A whole tea cabinet!! I was absolutely obsessed. Thank you Ken and Kathy. I would definitely be staying again.

2nd stay and will be back

This was our second time staying at this property. It is clean, conveniently located, and will be our first pick next time we are in town. The Keurig would not turn on when we first arrived and the owner was responsive and had a replacement for us by the next day. I didn't expect her to replace it and was pleasantly surprised when she dropped off the new one. I highly recommend this property.

Great place to stay near the airport!

We had a one night stay in this beautiful cozy house before flying out early the next morning. The house was clean, beds were very comfortable, and the decorations were lovely. We felt very safe in this location and had an easy drive to the airport. Would definitely stay here again!
