Serene Farmhouse at the Lake

Serene and Rustic home on an acre of land that is completely fenced in and surrounded by large oak trees to create a peaceful and private vacation experience. The entire property is accessible for guests and has plenty of parking, including easy drive through access for boat owners. Property includes 4 bedrooms and 1 pull out couch with the availability to sleep 10 guests comfortably. Also has 3 full bathrooms, one of which includes a bathtub, a fully functioning kitchen and laundry room. There is an outdoor entertainment area with gas firepit and grill, outdoor picnic tables, and hot tub. Property is within walking distance of a bait shop and local restaurant, as well as 2 miles from the Lake Whitney Marina, Dam and swimming beach, and less than 3 miles to multiple restaurants, gas stations and liquor stores. There are multiple vineyards and golf courses within 30 minutes and drive to Waco is less than an hour.

This was our second stay at this property for a working vacation. This house makes our stay much more enjoyable than a hotel would be.

Excellent Location!

The Serene Farmhouse at the Lake was perfect for our family. We especially enjoyed the yard and jacuzzi. The house we perfectly located for easy access to Whitney and our family’s houses in the area. Thank you for a great place to stay. We will return!

Working Vacation

We had some employees and family staying with us at this property while we worked at our place in Aquilla. It was clean and homey and much much better than staying in a hotel. We have already booked this property again for the next round!

Fantastic Place

We loved our stay at the Farmhouse! Kali was a great host—the place was spotless when we got there, and the information binder was super helpful. While we don’t drink, we really appreciated thoughtfulness of the complimentary bottle of wine. It was fun to sign the picnic table in the back. We would definitely stay there again!

Dog friendly property near lake

The property has been updated and was very clean and cozy. The huge fenced in area was perfect for our dogs and provided hours of outdoor entertainment. Wish we could have used the hot tub but with the heat and humidity we decided to pass. Maybe next time.

What a weekend!

This property was fantastic. From booking to departure, there was such care taken to give us a wonderful and accommodating stay. The bedrooms were great with super comfortable beds. The kitchen and den were great to hang out in. The baths were nicely updated. The outdoors features were spectacular - especially for our dogs who loved the freedom to run! From parents to the kids to our dogs, everyone left with a smile on their face from a weekend of fun and family. Thanks for making that happen!!!
