Escape to Shelter Cove Harbor with access to Palmetto Dunes Beaches! This peaceful retreat is a contemporary 1 bedroom villa with stunning views of Shelter Cove Harbour and Broadcreek! In addition to it's premium location on the third floor of Captain’s Quarters, this condo is one of the closest to the water. The beautiful living design has been completely remodeled and has upscale furnishings and custom high end cabinetry. Located in a private gated community, the villa is within a 2 minute walk to Shelter Cove's quaint shops, local restaurants and numerous marina activities like boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and dolphin tours.
The space
Upon entering this coastal inspired oasis you will be drawn to the covered balcony, the perfect spot for sipping your morning coffee, or a happy hour refreshment. Enjoy watching water birds, boats, dolphins, and summer fireworks right outside your sliding door. The custom kitchen boasts Monogram stainless steel built-in appliances and gorgeous granite counters and backsplash. The bath has double sinks, a large lighted mirror, and a large walk-in tiled shower. Equally refreshing, is the master retreat, with a king bed, a wall of closets, blackout drapes, and a whisper quiet ceiling fan. Stay connected with Spectrum high speed internet and cable channels on two flat screen TV's.
Other things to note
Per our HOA community regulations vehicles must be identified with a Palmetto Dunes gate/security pass. On the day of check-in you will pick up your pass at the Palmetto Dunes Pass Office: 3-7 rental nights $35, 8-14 rental nights $50, 15-30 $75, which is due when you pick up your pass, payable to Palmetto Dunes. This pass also gives you access to the beach parking in Palmetto Dunes at The Dunes House and The Disney Beach House. You will get specific details prior to check in.

Please read the house rules before requesting to book. We also adhere to the Hilton Head Short Term rental policies as well as Captain's Quarters HOA good neighbor policies. Security camera Ring Doorbell at outside entry. Business License 25059 STR permit 025059

Tara’s place was great. Overlooking the marina, walking distance to restaurants, and a comfortable bed. We’d stay there again.

We had a wonderful weekend at Shelter Cove. The condo was beautiful, very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The view was spectacular from sunrise to sunset. The host’s communications were excellent. I highly recommend and would definitely return!

We stayed at this rental for seven nights to celebrate our honeymoon. As we wanted to be near the water without necessarily staying by the ocean, this location was perfect for sitting on the balcony to watch the boats and wildlife. We were truly impressed by the manatees, alligators, dolphins, and birds. The space was well-sized for a couple. I would agree with a previous guest that the carpets could benefit from a deep cleaning or perhaps even a full replacement. One minor note is that the blinds on the sliding glass door cannot be adjusted, which can make the living area feel a bit exposed in the evening. Otherwise, the property is in an excellent location near shops, restaurants, and walking trails.

Thank you for staying with us during your recent travels to Hilton Head. I appreciate your kind words regarding the beautiful location of our villa. I’m sorry to hear that you felt that our Gabbert designer wool rugs needed refreshed. In fact, all the rugs had just been taken off site by a reputable Savannah rug company, professionally cleaned, and returned on September 28. This is something I do routinely during my rental season. You were the first guests to use them after being cleaned. I take the cleanliness of our property very seriously and want to provide our guests a wonderful experience. I do think that the modern, muted, two tone design of gray and taupe can be misleading. However, I can assure you they were very clean for your stay. These were expensive rugs, but I will consider replacing them this winter with a different design. Once again, thank you for staying with us.

Everything was a advertised. Problem with wifi, host was very responsive but I didn't need it as my mobile hotspot was sufficient. A little problem with comminications coming and going as I was in the midst of a long drive.

Edward, it was a pleasure hosting you. Internet service on Hilton Head Island is a challenge for all of the carriers. Our HOA uses Spectrum as our communities provider for cable and WiFi. Our condo has recently been updated with all new Spectrum equipment. Communication via messaging through VRBO is a valuable tool for the property owner to communicate with the guest, Thank you for responding.

My husband and I stayed at Tara’s condo for three nights (August 8–11), and we really enjoyed our stay! The condo is beautiful, comfortable, and has wonderful views of the harbor.The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with plenty of extras, including baggies, aluminum foil, spices, and dish soap. We also appreciated the fluffy bath towels, two beach towels, and beach chairs. We especially loved the hardwood floors throughout the condo.One of our favorite things was enjoying a glass of wine on the porch in the evening. It was so peaceful and serene! Just a note that the porch gets quite warm in the mornings when the sun shines directly on it.Tara was wonderful to work with and responded very quickly to any questions or concerns.Our only minor suggestion would be that the area rugs could use a deeper cleaning. Otherwise, we had a lovely stay and would happily return!
