Relax with the whole family at this peaceful home with beautiful country views. Spacious 3 bedroom 2 bath newly remodeled home, with new appliances throughout, located 4 miles west of I-65. You can watch the sunrise from the dining room table, have a great view of the sunset, as well as an unobstructed view of the night sky and so many stars! Our home is adjacent to Clark State Forest with convenient access to to hiking, biking, and horse trails. For our guests with Horses we have horse stalls and pasture land available, please reach out to secure equine accommodations. We also have pet boarding and daycare across the road at The Dog House Resort and Spaw.

This location is on a beautiful piece of land, very peaceful. The home was perfect for my stay. I did not have to reach out to the host, but contact information was provided if necessary. I highly recommend if you need to stay in this area to rent this house.

Fantastic location on a quiet road surrounded by pastures with cows and horses, and plenty of woods. House was exceptionally clean and complete with all the amenities.

Where do I start?! BEAUTIFUL place to stay!! Very clean, comfy, quiet, and peaceful. Loved watching the sunrise from the back windows over the fields and hoerses, and the su set over the hills from the front. Louisville and Clarksville are a short drive north and Walmart is just down the road in Scottsburg. The Dollar General nearby is better than the ones back home. Goodfella's Pizza is wonderful and the Clark State Forest is stunning! These people are very nice and accommodating. I've not felt this welcome at any other vrbo. We travel often. Still, Hubby said this felt like the first real vacation he's had. I didn't want to leave!

Great little home away from home.

We had an amazing time at this Vrbo rental! The property was exactly as described—clean, well-stocked, and incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect, the host was responsive, helpful, and made the check-in process seamless. We especially loved the views. It truly felt like a home away from home. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Awesome place to stay

We were down visiting family and chose to stay here since it was close to the highway and everyone could have their own bedroom. The home was clean, well stocked with basic supplies and very welcoming. Contact was very responsive to messages, and check out was a breeze. Would stay here again.

Absolutely Wonderful

We had such a great time!Five of us came to town to visit other family members who live in the area. The location is absolutely beautiful! It is quiet and serene, featuring a peaceful pond, as well as horses and cows nearby. There are walking paths to enjoy the scenery. Although there are some neighbors around, they respect your privacy.The home is adorable and well cared for. It felt very clean and was stocked with adequate supplies.The owner was easy to reach and very responsive to our questions. We all felt well taken care of!We are already planning out next trip back!

Moms Night

My girlfriends and I enjoyed our mom's night out. Nearby restaurant selection is pretty slim picking, but we enjoyed the Mexican restaurant in Henryville, Tequila and Mezcal. Location feels quite remote, but only 5 minutes from I65. The home was very clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Quiet countryside setting

We had a short stay to visit some distilleries on our way to the Smokies. It was a clean, quiet, beautiful stay in the country. The only thing I would mention is the numerous plug-ins were overwhelming to the point that we unplugged them while there. Otherwise, great stay!

Clean. Only concern were the 9 Glade air fresheners creating quite a strong/overpowering scent in the entire space. Even our clothes were scented.

Lovely countryside stay

Only 4 miles from the interstate, this countryside listing is incredibly quiet, overlooking a pond, and horses and pastures in the distance. The host was very responsive, even allowing me to change dates with no notice. The unit was immaculate, comfortable beds, great showers, and the AC was already set to 68 and it was incredibly cool inside when it was really hot outside. Loved being able to bring my dogs, walk around the pond and let them loose in the fenced in area. Highly recommend, I’d love to come back!
