The 1-level, 3,250-square-foot home features stunning views of the Little Wicomico River and Horse Pond, a well-appointed kitchen, spacious family gathering areas, an 8-seater dining table and high-speed internet. The 1,200-square-foot recreation room has a pool table, 80s-style video game, poker table, bar, retro fridge/freezer and bathroom with a dog shower. Absolutely phenomenal time at this rental. It is SO difficult to find a good place that doesn't just allow dogs but is actively dog-friendly. We have two 45lb pups, one of whom is reactive so we need a fully fenced area for them to run around in. One of them also loves the water, so this is exactly what we were looking for. It was just the two of us and our dogs, so we felt a silly getting this big house with a separate rec area, but we are so glad we did. The house is beautiful and has obviously had a lot of care put into it. The location is stunning. It's so peaceful and quiet. The "pond" as they call it, essentially feels like you have your own private lake that connects to the river and then the Bay if you want. The little shore was a perfect little soft sandy stretch to easily get the watercraft in and out. We saw blue crab, lots of tiny fish, a heron across the way, and a pair of bald eagles while we were there. The bed was so comfy and I slept like a log since it was so quiet (normally I wear earplugs). The house is very well appointed with pantry stuffs - coffee, condiments, spices, lots of dishes and cookware. They left a goodie bag for us to make s'mores, which we took full advantage of. We had a bunch of old school video game tournaments and I got roundly beaten at pool several times. I legit have no complaints. I would buy this house in a heartbeat - and asked even though I *knew* there would be no way anyone would give up that property. Will return for sure.

A family of 4 adults and 2 dogs stayed here for a week and we were thrilled with the house. The house was very clean when we arrived. The owners thought of everything a person might need or want! The WiFi was perfect, the kitchen is very well stocked, sheets/towels soft and comfy, and the beds were VERY comfortable. The layout of the house also suited our group well. There are several sitting areas for reading/relaxing while taking in the beautiful views. The patio area is large and there was plenty of grass for the dogs. The gameroom is over the top and a must see! The home is so spacious you never felt crowded. The owners were very communicative and answered questions quickly. We would definitely stay here again!

One of the best! If you want to relax with your family and pups, this is the place. If you forgot something, they have it. Very well appointed kitchen with anything you would need. There's even hair dryers in the bathrooms. So much space and is even better than the pictures. The game room is amazing, there's something for everyone. Would 100% recommend. We will definitely be coming back!

Our stay at Paws and Reflect was wonderful. We and our friends enjoyed the location and the activities very much.The kitchen was very well stocked and the game room with music delightful. Your directions and information to kayak to the river were spot on.

We absolutely loved the house! It has a wonderful view of the pond and river, the kitchen and set up outdoors are both well equipped and had everything you need for staying in and cooking. It is nicely decorated including the comfortable outdoor area. We went kayaking on the pond, played pool in the game room, rode bikes, read a lot, played games and explored the area. Time flew by and overall we had a very relaxing time. Very private area yet still very accessible to Reedville and the surrounding areas. The hosts have thought of everything that you could possibly need. We would definitely love to stay here again!!

A fabulous vacation house on Chesapeake Bay

We have spent summers around the Chesapeake Bay for the last 20 years. By far, this property is the best. The house provides ample space for a group of eight adults, including kitchen, dining, and recreation areas. The utilities and furniture are all top quality. We really enjoyed our week-long stay and look forward to coming back again.

We are empty nesters who love to travel with our two big dogs. We know how difficult it is to find lodging that will accept dogs, especially when they’re big. Jay is a Realtor and Dawn is a public relations manager for a national veterinary care company. We have always wanted a home on the water where our family, friends and dogs could relax and unwind. We became hosts so other responsible dog parents could get away from their stressful lives back home and enjoy some peacefulness and serenity at the river.

We were drawn to Reedville because of it’s small-town charm and laid-back lifestyle. Our neighbors have been welcoming and gracious. Many of them are dog lovers as well and you’ll often see them walking along the quiet streets in our little corner of the county. They will stop and ask you how you’re doing and genuinely want to help in any way they can. We encourage you to venture into town and eat at the local restaurants, shop in the quant stores and immerse yourself in the slower pace of river living.

Paws and Reflect is all about slowing down and enjoying some quality time with the ones you love. We consider our dogs to be part of that equation. They comfort us when we’re sad and make us smile when we need to be reminded that life is a blessing. We have included spaces in the home where dogs enjoy lounging (A+ approved by our dogs).

We have equipped our home with the things that bring our family joy. The dining room table is big enough for 8 to seat comfortably. If you’re planning to cook a big feast, the kitchen is fully stocked with cooking supplies and there’s a buffet table for serving. If you have to work remotely, there’s a desk with monitor, keyboard, mouse and high-speed internet. The pool table, poker table and arcade games in the recreation room are a great way to enjoy some time with loved ones, especially if the weather isn’t ideal for outdoor activities. The property is spacious! There’s plenty of room for everyone to have some alone time as well.
