Sunset Ridge Cottage, amazing views

Absolutely breathtaking views of the Owyhee mountains. This modern fully furnished cottage boasts all the amenities you need. Spectacular sunsets and peaked rolling hills. Abundant wildlife & a bird watchers paradise. Located in the scenic wine country area surrounded by Hopps fields makes this an ideal destination. Conveniently located minutes from the small hometowns of Homedale & Wilder and within 35 minutes of the capital city of Boise. This is an absolute gem of a place! A must-stay!
The space
Modern and clean. Quartz counter tops and stainless appliances. Bedroom 1 has a door and its own heat/ac. In the main area there is a loft with a double size bed. The living room has a pull-out queen bed. Bathroom has a shower. Multiple windows to get all the views this amazing home has to offer.
Guest access
You can enjoy walking around the area on the farm dirt roads, and near the trees.
Access to loft over the bedroom, pull down ladder from roof. No access to loft over the front door.
Other things to note
Everything is fully furnished. Hot water and AC/Heat supplied through minisplit. Electric Fireplace also available.

My wife and I stayed at this property for 4 nights. The hosts were on site, which we prefer. They made sure we were happy every time we saw them. Very friendly people make all the difference to us. Their Dog Teddy was amazing. And the two goats a pleasure to pet. We will definitely stay again.

We love that there was a place in Felder that showed the beauty of the area. It was very clean and well thawed out. They really enjoyed their six day stay. We will use this property again again.

A Great Place to Stay

Sunset Ridge Cottage was a perfect place to stay. The cottage was very clean. The furniture was comfortable and the kitchen had all of the essentials. Christy and Brian even had a breakfast pastry in the cottage for our first morning. The location of Sunset Ridge Cottage allowed for beautiful sunsets! Brian and Christy were hospitable and helpful. We highly recommend Sunset Ridge Cottage . We look forward to a return visit.

Cozy Little Spot with a Great Sunset

The dwelling is very new and well kept. It has everything that I needed for my 3-day stay. I very much enjoyed just sitting on the front porch and watching the sunset each night. Christie and Brian were super responsive to communication during my stay. You can tell that they truly care that their guests are cared for in both of these properties. I will be staying here again next time I am in the area.

I’ll be back

Sunset Ridge has been aptly named, every evening was stunning. The cottage itself was cute and had everything I needed for a long weekend. The treats and beverages were an added surprise in the refrigerator. The location was the best part for me, out of the fray of town and close to my family I had come to visit.

Visit for a wedding

The location was perfect, relaxing, quiet. The views are outstanding. The house is comfortable and has everything you need. I tried taking pics cause these don’t show that there is grass, chairs for the porch and a fire pit. It is reasonably close to river access, rock hunting, winery, hot springs, hiking. None of which I did this time because of the wedding.

Best Rental Ever

I was expecting this to be a good experience based on the ratings left by others. My expectations were exceeded and now every time I visit my sister for any occasion this will be the place. I’ll try to book. The level of detail to personal comfort set up by the owners of this unit was a real big surprise. They even had spices starter coffee drinks in the fridge. It just was a class act. The pictures they posted in the Vista from this unit Do not do it justice daytime nighttime sunset all hours it’s just a really pleasant and spacious view. I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone who enjoys the wide-open spaces, the quiet tranquility of being on a high plane and restful solitude you surely will never be disappointed by renting this unit.

Cutest Barndominium

My husband and I needed a place to stay near Homedale for a family funeral. I picked this place because it was close to Homedale, and reasonably priced. Not only was it close and reasonably priced, it was clean and well stocked. Plenty of towels and blankets. We didn’t do any cooking, but all the new utensils/supplies were available. The cupboards were stocked with seasonings, spices k-cups, and a few waters in the fridge for us. It was cold in Wilder at the time we stayed, so we didn’t get to fully enjoy sitting on the porch enjoying the view, we did get to see the many beautiful views just for short periods of time. The owners were very quick to respond when we were preparing to check in. We had no need to communicate with the owners during our 4 night stay; everything was as stated, and clearly marked/explained in the house. I would highly recommend staying here, and will plan to stay again if large family gatherings bring us to the area.
