Perfect Family Getaway

The condo was conveniently located next to the beach with community in ground pool. Relaxing on the porch was a little piece of heaven. About a 12 minute drive to Broadway at the Beach/Convention Center so close enough to the action but far enough to be in a peaceful community setting.

Great experience

This was our first time renting this property and renting from Booe Realty. Everything was outstanding. Could not ask for better. We even booked our next stay in the same condo for later this year.

Alone at last!

This property was a quaint little area of pure bliss. Very family friendly, even though you cross the road to get to the beach, I would highly recommend for families. The space on the beach was perfect. Literally perfect. There are not people on top of people and there’s plenty of room to relax and play. We will be back!

Great Place.

We had a great time at Ocean Forest. The complex was built in the late 70's early 80's but the room had been updated. Everything was great! The only thing I could recommend to make this five stars would be to update the air conditioning. Other than that, it was a fantastic family vacation!!

disappointment

The unit was dirty.....and all the furniture was falling apart. The beds were uncomfortable and just overall a very dark and uninviting place. The internet was out for the first 3 days and the tv programing was very limited. The kitchen was updated and nice. Would not rent again.

Nice but had a few hiccups

The overall experience was not horrible. The house was okay but definitely was thrown off about having to bring my own linen. There were not enough rolls of toilet tissue and dishes were to be cleaned but there was no dish detergent. No rags or towels provided and check in desk was not on premises. So arriving at 11pm did not help. TV did not work so it could definitely use a little TLC. Again house was not bad but definitely would have prepared better had I known all things included.

Perfect Location. Unit needs a bit of a update.

Perfect for our party of 4. Perfect location to beach. Right across the quiet street. Unit overlooks pool which was great to keep an eye on teens.( pool open from 9am to 11pm!) Property was great. Clean and well kept. Lots of Parking. The unit itself needs a deep clean to freshen up. Besides the kitchen and hallway bathroom the Unit needs a makeover. Old furniture and paintings. The AC units were very loud and could use a filter change. The master bathroom was really tiny and had the old triangle shaped frosted glass shower. Even an average sized person would have difficulty raising arms and turning around. The door to that shower is on its last leg. Sliding glass door to patio could use some wd40. Patio furniture was ok but higher chairs and table would've been better/ more comfortable. I thought the 2nd bedroom had a TV. But it did not. Overall though the location and Property was amazing so that was the best. And full kitchen with everything you need! Laundry room also right next door. We would definitely stay on the property again just maybe a more updated unit. But we had an amazing time!

Great Location!

Let me start with I liked this rental and would probably rent there again. It’s at a nice price point for the location. The unit is nicely placed on the property, just a quick walk to the beach and is in what I consider the best end of Myrtle Beach. The condo neighborhood was quiet and comfortable and they were close to so many things. I also loved that our balcony overlooked the pool with a great view of the ocean. That being said, this unit is dated and seriously needs a deep cleaning. There was significant dust on the fans and vents. The air conditioning is supplied by windows units which work great only there is not a unit in the guest bedroom. Our kids didn’t mind because they are cold natured, but some people may need cooler air. I also saw a few cockroaches. I know this is the beach and that sort of thing happens with older units, but one should be aware going into it there were signs saying they sprayed monthly outside but I’m not sure how they handle inside bugs. I only saw 2, so it wasn’t excessive bit present. Also, please make a note that linens do not automatically come with the unit. You’ll need to rent them separately. Thank goodness the rental company called me ahead of time so I could order some. Also, the pillows were SUPER flat. We went out and bought more because it was definitely needed. I strongly suggest bringing your own. The beds themselves were OK in my opinion, however, my husband disagreed. I slept fine after a busy day at the beach, but you could feel the springs in the mattress. Checking in requires you to go by the realty office which is less than 2 miles away. They were delightful to work with, but it is 2 extra stops on your trip to check in and out. A key box outside the unit would be so much more helpful. Overall it was a great experience!

Very nice and clean.

Clean and spacious condo on Ocean Avenue with very short walk to beach. Clean pool and spacious hot tub in excellent condition. Short and easy drive to all the favorite locations to include grand Strand, Broadway on the beach, convention center and many others.
