We had a great weekend! The place was clean, and we really enjoyed the pool. We had a little trouble finding the property because the mailbox showed both 3909 and 3912. It would also help to have checkout instructions saying whether guests should make the beds or strip the linens. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

The backyard with the pool was the best thing about this place. We hung out there most of the time. The beds in the extra bedrooms weren’t t that comfortable and the house is a little small. All in all it was a good place for the price.

We loved our stay here! The inside has all you can need, but the gem of the property is the backyard. We loved the heated pool (so nice!), all the chairs, and outdoor seating. Our kids 16 and 18 loved the afternoons in the pool! It is a great location to get to Anna Maria Island and we did that each day, as well as enjoyed Cortez.

This house was perfect for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. The backyard and pool was amazing. Very close to AMI and walking distance to Bradenton beach.

The house is like walking into the 50s as far as opulent resort villa cabin, Then walking into the private pool thats landscaped, meticulously backyard is huge but somehow cozy. With the house being pet friendly is perfect. My only complaint was the no-seeum (lil bity mean and hungry bugs) which the Host had no control would go back in a min without question

Spring break getaway!

The house was furnished extremely well and the pool in the back yard was beautiful! This is our second stay and will definitely be planning on another visit in the future.

WOW!! Pleasantly surprised!! The photos really don’t do this tropical paradise justice…photos look great- but it was seriously more beautiful and relaxing than what you see online! We got in after dark and pulled up to see the property lit up by patio string lights highlighting the vivid “beachy“ paint scheme. The house was clean, had every kitchen amenity you’d need for an extended stay, and the beds were comfortable! The backyard—AMAZING! You don’t need to buy any pool floats, beach chairs, etc! They have it all here. Although this is literally 2 miles from the beach, we just stayed and floated in the CLEAN pool all day. Our friends who we were visiting live nearby and enjoyed just relaxing with us for the day. We highly recommend this place if you want to have the feeling of home, but with vacation amenities!! Would 100% stay here again!

The location was great. Very close to the beach as well as restaurants and stores. Loved having a heated pool since it was a little chilly for our stay.

We had a great week. The reasons to stay here are the pool and proximity to SMI. The pool area is beautifully lanscaped, and a wonderful place to relax and take a dip in the clean heated water. The Cortez bridge is just a few minutes away and makes for a quick trip to the island. There are also some fun places in nearby Cortez too. The house is a bit of a patchwork of decor, not quite as pictured. But all the appliances are new, and the host has stocked it well and it has everything you need. We had a fun week.

Quaint and very comfortable

This place was awesome! The backyard is definitely the highlight for us and the reason we chose this place. The decor was so cute, the feeling homey and we were very comfortable. Having a heated pool was a game changer! It’s perfectly located between the Bradenton convention center where we had a cheer competition and the beaches. we will definitely come back!

Not the Barracuda

The duplex was clean but I'm glad there were only two of us as it's small. I'm thankful the landlord had a place for us to stay. The amenities are excellent, and the neighborhood is a little loud. But the location is great for getting to and from Anna Maria. Overall, these are good, honest, and caring people to rent from.

Slice of Heaven in Cortez

The back yard is worth the price of admission alone! Wonderfully landscaped and meticulously maintained. Beautiful to look at, fenced and secluded, Great play area for the dogs and then to top it off, a heated pool! House very neat and well stocked. Easy in and out and quick access to the beech, nature walks, restaurants and grocery stores including a Detwiler's. Quiet neighborhood off the beaten path. If you are thinking about a stay in Cortez, I highly recommend this place. Kevin Daugherty

Cortez Vacation

Overall we enjoyed our 5 week stay at Barracuda, We loved the pool and backyard. The appliances seemed new and beds comfortable. This is an older home that has been renovated and rooms are smaller. The living room was pretty tight for 5 adults and the couch and chairs could be more comfortable. The neighborhood is still recovering from the Fall hurricanes and some homes and mobile homes are still in bad shape. Definitely need a car to get to beaches, restaurants and stores. Our host was very responsive to our requests.

Tried to communicate when the unit may be ready for a potential early check in, by emailing the host.I tried twice to inquire and received back a copy and paste reply 2 times, that guest were checking out the day we were to arrive and they would let us know when it was ready.The host never acknowledge my emails.We were waiting in the driveway around 3:00 (check in is 4:00 no cleaners present), one person we were traveling with called a number in the front yard, it was then that we were told the unit was ready.The unit served our purpose for one night, it was clean. If it was an extended stay, it could have been a little frustrating. The first of our group, upon entry, fell into the kitchen over a risen "curb", we put something in the entry way as a warning.The unit has at least three other elevations throughout so you must be very cognizant of moving around inside.The pool is really nice.

Very spacious,clean favorite spot was the pool area beautiful fenced back yard loved all the palm trees and tropical flowers ,great place to bring your four legged family members and kiddos. The pool was really nice to come back to after being at the beach.Great location close to everything.Enjoyed our stay and will be back.
