Start your morning with coffee overlooking Kassuba Lake, then end the day with a soak in your private hot tub. Bear’s Den puts you right on the water in Gaylord, with warm wood interiors, a spacious deck, and four bedrooms and three bathrooms for up to 10 guests.

Bring your favorite people for a Northern Michigan getaway built around time together: lake views over breakfast, meals on the deck, and relaxed evenings back at the cabin.

THE LAKE IS YOUR BACKDROP
Enjoy direct frontage on Kassuba Lake without leaving the property. Three kayaks are provided when weather and lake conditions permit. Spend the afternoon outside, fire up the BBQ grill, and settle into the private hot tub after a day of exploring. The deck and backyard give your group more room to enjoy the setting.

A CABIN MADE FOR GATHERING
Vaulted wood ceilings, large windows and a stone fireplace give the open living and dining area its cabin character. Cook a favorite family meal in the full kitchen, with a gas stove, oven, dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker and island seating. There is space to share a meal, catch up and make yourself at home.

- Bedroom 1: one king bed
- Bedroom 2: one queen bed
- Bedroom 3: one queen bed
- Bedroom 4: two twin bunk beds, with four twin sleeping spaces
Three bathrooms make getting ready easier for your group. Maximum occupancy is 10 guests.

THE PRACTICAL COMFORTS
Enjoy the entire home, self check-in, free Wi-Fi, central heating and air conditioning, an in-home washer and dryer, and a workspace. Free on-site parking accommodates a maximum of three vehicles; please keep neighboring driveways clear.

- The dock is seasonal and is removed in the fall until spring installation. Summer photos show seasonal amenities. Confirm dock and fire-pit availability for your dates; lake activities depend on weather and conditions.
- No pets, parties or events. Quiet hours are 10 PM–8 AM.
- Check-in is after 4 PM; checkout is before 10 AM.
- Exterior security cameras monitor the property perimeter; there are no interior cameras.

House was beautiful and plenty of space for our party of 8. Kids had a blast fishing off the dock and swimming in the lake. Would definitely come back

Treetops Weekend

We had 3 couples for our weekend stay in Gaylord. We were up for the weekend to enjoy the Beer/Wine Festival and Sylvan days at the Treetops resort. The place was perfect. Less than 4 miles to the resort and close to restaurants and bars for food/drinks afterwards. Would be a fantastic place to rent in the warmer months since it is on a small lake.

A perfect winter getaway

We booked the cabin for a team retreat and couldn’t have picked a better location for a cozy winter getaway. The cabin was very well maintained and offered all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. We had some unfortunate issues with the power the first day due to a winter storm, but the owner was quick to rectify and went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

We loved the house. Other than a few small issues, everything else was great. The owner communicated with us quickly and was ready to resolve anything in an expedient manner. We will stay again.

The host was very kind and welcoming. Responded to all questions quickly and efficiently. The house was very nice and clean. The only thing is that the cover for the hot tub definitely needs to be replaced. But everything else was great!

Wonderful property!

We booked this beautiful home for our group of 6 for a wintery weekend indoors! It did not disappoint. Super clean, with good quality furnishings and plenty of amenities and little extras. It’s really superb! We have high expectations, and we enjoyed this property immensely. We will be rebooking this summer!

Quiet getaway

The house was very clean. Plenty of room for our party of 5. Communication with the host was top notch. The lake side of the house could use some manicuring and the hot tub could use some TLC. But other than that the stay was great
