Comfy loft in medieval Bruges

Our cozy loft is located in the old city centre of Bruges in a charming 19th century home. It sleeps 4 people comfortably. It is a short walk to all the medieval sights; popular shops and restaurants. To access the loft,one needs to ascend two staircases, the top stairway (typical Brugian) leading to the attic loft is rather steep. (See photos) Not recommended for people with physical disabilities.

We loved everything about this property. The space was so cozy, comfortable and clean. We had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The host and her taste in decor is absolutely lovely! We will be back most definitely! Absolutely enjoyable. We only wished we would have been able to stay longer. Very central location, accessibility is excellent.

Annette was very welcoming and informative. The loft was perfect and we adapted to the steep stairs quickly. Perfect for a short break to Brugges and minutes from the centre.

A fabulous loft apartment which was beautifully decorated, very well equipped, with an extremely comfortable bed. Lovely and clean, in a quiet area and a very short walk to the historical centre. Our host Annette was super accommodating and very friendly. We had a very warm welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

The loft is amazing a hidden gem in a quiet neighborhood only a short walk from the very centre of Brugge. Annette was an excellent host and I would strongly recommend to anybody planning a stay in Brugge.

Wundervolle Gastgeberin, es lag sogar extra ein deutscher ReisefĂŒhrer fĂŒr uns parat und sĂ€mtliche Tipps von ParkhĂ€usern, Restaurants, etc. bekam man schon vorab, jede Anfrage wurde prompt und grĂŒndlich beantwortet. Absolut geschmackvolle und außergewöhnliche Einrichtung, Betten bequem. Kaffee, Milch, Bierkostprobe von der Brauerei vor Ort da.Schirme am Eingang falls es mal nass wird. Die Treppe zur Ferienwohnung ist im 2.Teil sehr steil mit kleinen Stufen. Bei schweren Koffern und ziemlich großen FĂŒĂŸen:-) nicht ganz so einfach. Mit kleinen Kindern muss das jeder selbst entscheiden. Hatte Hilfe von Annette und meinem erwachsenen Sohn, also ging es. Innenstadt, super BĂ€ckerei, kleiner Supermarkt, Parkhaus in LaufnĂ€he. Die Wohngegend ist angenehm ruhig. Vielen Dank fĂŒr die FĂŒrsorge, wir kommen gerne wieder

On arrival we were warmly greeted by Annette. Our apartment, aptly named the loft, was tastefully decorated giving it a warm and comfortable space to retire to after a busy days discovering the delights of Bruges. Annette was the perfect host, what with supplying us with a couple of beers and milk in the fridge on arrival to dropping us off at the station due to a strike by bus drivers! The house was set in the quiet suburbs of the city, just a 15 minute walk from the sites. There were local restaurants and grocery shops nearby. We would definetly recommend this accomadation to any visitors who are planning on visiting Bruges. Thank you Annette for being the perfect host x

Diese sehr gemĂŒtliche Dachgeschosswohnung war fĂŒr 4 NĂ€chte unsere Basisstation in BrĂŒgge. Sie ermöglicht eine fußlĂ€ufige Erkundung der kompletten Altstadt, den Einkauf beim BĂ€cker oder Supermarkt sowie den Besuch von Restaurants.Die Ausstattung ist komplett, es fehlte uns an nichts.Alle weiteren positiven Merkmale, sowie die sympatische und freundliche Art von Annette wurden bereits in vielen Bewertungen hervorgehoben, welchen wir uns vollumfĂ€nglich anschließen können. Wer keine Probleme beim Treppensteigen hat, dem sei dieser wunderbare Platz ans Herz gelegt. This very cozy attic apartment was our base in Bruges for four nights. It allows you to explore the entire old town on foot, shop at the bakery or supermarket, and visit restaurants.The apartment is fully equipped, and we lacked for nothing.All of the other positive features, as well as Annette's pleasant and friendly manner, have already been highlighted in many reviews, which we can fully endorse. If you have no problem climbing stairs, we highly recommend this wonderful place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here on a quiet street in the medieval centre of Bruges. There are windows on three sides of The Loft – so airy! with a lovely view. Large comfy bed, a nice shower and bathtub! Best host ever – Annette is available and extremely helpful but not intrusive in any way. The set up is perfect for privacy.

Fabulous Location

3 ladies travelling to Brugge. Attention from the owner was great. Very welcoming beforehand with information on the property and places of interest and area and on arrival in person. Location excellent, walking distance of all attractions but in a very peaceful and quiet setting. Loved our stay and would definitely recommend this property and owner.

Lovely place, great location

Annette’s loft was lovely. Clean, comfortable, and had everything you need. Quiet. Three of us “old “ women even managed the very steep stairs. (The solution was to leave our luggage at the bottom of the stairs and climb up with our clothes the next morning). Annette was very kind and provided us with many recommendations for local restaurants, sights, etc. Highly recommend. Just watch your head on the beams!

A Dreamy Little Loft

We cannot say enough about this great loft. It was so cozy and adorable! Annette was wonderful and took great care of us. The bathtub was a bonus! The location is so close to the center of everything. You will love it! Now, it does has steep stairs as listed in the description, but we were able to manage and would definitely stay there again! Thank you Annette for sharing this lovely place with us!

Wonderful stay in Bruges

We had a wonderful stay in Bruges and enjoyed Annette’s lovely loft. Annette is a wonderful host and did everything to make our stay comfortable. She provided excellent recommendations on things to do and places to eat (Tom’s Diner is a must!) The loft was well equipped and the description of the steep stairs was very accurate so good to reach out to Annette in advance with any questions!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Dachgeschosswohnung von Annette. Die Wohnung ist gemĂŒtlich und individuell eingerichtet. Wie beschrieben war die Treppe zur Wohnung sehr steil - und hat es nicht gestört. Annette ist eine aufmerksame Gastgeberin mit vielen guten Tips , um einen schönen Aufenthalt in BrĂŒgge zu haben. Great Place in Bruge.

This is a real gem. It is in a great location off the beaten path but an easy walk to the
 well the beaten path. Annette was amazing and had really good suggestions of places to go and things to see. The loft is a bit challenging to get to with large luggage but well worth it. The rooms are on the top floor of the three story home. Very private and plenty of space for what you need in a room. Annette provided all of the essentials such as towels, linens, coffee, tea and even a welcoming beer for each of us. Wonderful place all around.
